Introduction to standards:

This standard replaces GB/T 3979-1997 "Methods for measuring object color". This standard specifies the spectral photometric colorimetric method, photoelectric integral colorimetric method and visual comparison measurement method for object color. This standard is applicable to the measurement of reflected object color and transmitted object color, and is not applicable to the measurement of object color containing fluorescence. Compared with GB/T 3979-1997, the main changes of this standard are as follows: a) The "Scope of Application" part has been modified to specify the scope of application of object color measurement; b) (7) Colorimeter method has been modified to photoelectric integral colorimetric method, and the Luther condition for photoelectric integral color measurement has been added; c) Visual comparison measurement method has been added. This standard replaces GB/T 3979-1997 "Methods for measuring object color".
