Spring planting is mainly used in areas north of the Yellow River, and autumn and winter planting can be used in areas south of the Yellow River. 5.4.2 Root trimming
Before planting, trim the roots of the seedlings, make the cut smooth, and keep the root length of 10cm20cm. 5.4.3 Planting method
Dig a small hole in the center of the prepared planting hole, put the roots of the seedlings in and straighten them, and make the stems of the seedlings perpendicular to the ground. Soil depth, the root neck is 6cm~10cm below the ground, cultivate the soil, compact it, and water it thoroughly. After the water seeps down, seal the tree tray with soil and cover it with mulch. 5.4.4 Set the trunk after cutting. Set the trunk height: Single trunk natural open heart shape 40cm ~ 60cm, less than clump shape 20cm, there should be 3 or 5 full buds under the cut.
6 Cultivation and management
6.1 Shaping
Shaping and pruning should be carried out before spring buds.
6.1.1 Single trunk natural open heart shape
LY/T2205-—2013
In the second year, select 3 to 4 main branches distributed in different directions on the main trunk, and lightly cut the top of each main branch, and leave the outer bud under the first bud under the cut: in the third year, leave 2 or 3 side branches on each main branch, and lightly cut the main and side branches: in the fourth year, leave two secondary side branches on each side branch, and lightly cut all branches.
Small trunks and bushes
In the second year, select 3 to 5 basal branches and/or root barberry distributed in different directions as main branches, and cut off the rest. In the third year, keep 2 to 3 side branches on each main branch, and in the fourth year, select 2 to 3 secondary side branches on each side branch. Each branch head is lightly pruned every year, and the outer buds are left below the cut.
6.2 Pruning
6.2.1Young trees and early fruiting trees
Lightly pruned peripheral development branches, retaining small branches in the tree belly. 6.2.2Trees in the peak fruiting period
Lightly or moderately pruned the extension branches of each main branch, and the thin and weak branches, diseased and insect-infested branches, and drooping branches in the tree trunk were cut off, and the rest of the small branches were retained. 6.2.3Renewal of old trees
Prune the aging trees back to the 3-year-old to 4-year-old main branches to promote new branches and form a new crown skeleton. 6.3 Root removal
When the root reaches more than 20cm, it should be cut off in time. Manual root removal is performed 3 to 4 times a year. 6.4 Artificial assisted pollination
6.4.1 Pollen collection
In spring, pick the male inflorescence before it has elongated but has not yet shed pollen, put it in a paper bag and bring it back to the room, put it in a warm and dry room (about 20℃), place the inflorescence loosely on smooth paper, collect the scattered pollen in time, put it in a glass bottle, and seal it with gauze or cotton plugs. 6.4.2 Pollen storage
When used in the same year, store it at 0℃~5℃ for short-term storage; store it in an environment below -20℃ for long-term storage. 6.4.3 Pollination
When the female flowers are in full bloom, use a fine brush tip or cotton swab to dip pollen and apply it to the stigma: When pollinating a large area, mix 1 part of pollen with 8 to 10 parts of talcum powder (or starch) and use a pollinator for artificial assisted pollination. 3
