JB/T 7976-1999 Instrument terminology for measuring surface roughness using the profilometry method
Basic Information
Standard ID:
JB/T 7976-1999
Standard Name: Instrument terminology for measuring surface roughness using the profilometry method
JB/T 7976-1999 This standard is a revision of JB/T 7976-95 "Terms of Instruments for Measuring Surface Roughness by Profilometry". During the revision, editorial changes were made according to relevant regulations, and the technical content remained unchanged. This standard specifies the basic terms and definitions of instruments for measuring surface roughness by profilometry. This standard applies to instruments for measuring surface roughness by profilometry. This standard was first issued in 1985 as GB 6061-85 and was adjusted to JB/T 7976-95 in April 1966. This standard replaces JB/T7976-95 from the date of implementation. This standard is proposed and managed by the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Measuring Tools and Instruments. The responsible drafting units of this standard are: Mechanical Standardization Research Institute, Harbin Measuring Instrument Research Institute. The main drafters of this standard are: Liu Bing, Xu Wenhuan. This standard was first issued in 1985 as GB6061--85 and was adjusted to JB/T7976--95 in April 1996.188 1 Scope Mechanical Industry Standard of the People's Republic of China Instrument for the measurement of surface roughness by the profile method Instrument for the measurement of surface roughness by the profile method-Terms This standard specifies the basic terms and definitions of instruments for measuring surface roughness by the profile method. This standard applies to instruments for measuring surface roughness by the profile method. 2 Definitions This standard adopts the following definitions. JB/T 7976---1999 Replaces JB/T7976--95 2.1 Profile method of measurement of the surface roughness A method for evaluating surface roughness based on profile parameters measured on the surface. 2.2 Instrument for the measurement of surface roughness by the profile method An instrument that measures the surface roughness parameters by the profile measured on the surface. 2.3 Contact (stylus) instrument of consecutive transformation of a profile An instrument that measures the surface roughness by the method of sequential transformation of profile information during the mechanical movement of the stylus along the measured surface. Note 1 The movement of the stylus may be continuous or intermittent. 2 The stylus of the instrument has a specified geometric shape and is used to describe the profile during the information transformation process. 2.4 Contactless instrument of consecutive profile transformation An instrument that measures the surface roughness by the method of sequential transformation of profile information without any mechanical contact with the measured surface. 2.5 Contact instrument of instantaneous profile transformation An instrument that measures the surface roughness by the method of instantaneous transformation of profile information during the mechanical contact with the measured surface. 2.6 Non-contact instrument of instantaneous profile transformation An instrument that measures surface roughness by instantaneous profile transformation without any mechanical contact with the measured surface. Approved by the State Machinery Industry Bureau on May 20, 1999, and implemented on January 1, 2000 Tip: This standard content only shows part of the intercepted content of the complete standard.
