JB/T8789--1998 Before the formulation of this standard, there was no domestic standard for this product, nor any foreign reference materials. After surveying and mapping the sample (imported), this standard was formulated with reference to GB11852-89 "Tolerances and Technical Conditions for Taper Gauges" and verification data. The gauge taper angle in this standard is given according to the 1:24 standard taper angle of 2°23'13.1\, and the taper angle deviation is determined according to the single-item double-minus limit deviation, which is consistent with the gauge taper angle of 2°22'22\ of the American Gleason Company. The gauges specified in this standard are only applicable to the inspection of Type 1 (1a, Ib) parts in JB/T8359--96 "Single Tooth Bevel Gear Milling Machine Tool Spindle End". Since Type I (Ia, Ib) parts are old structures and will be replaced, gauges used to inspect Type I parts are not considered in this standard. This standard is under the jurisdiction of the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Measuring Tools and Instruments. The responsible drafting unit of this standard is Harbin Measuring Tool and Cutting Tool Factory. The main drafters of this standard are Zhu Hongjie, Li Shujun and Yang Yan. 393 1 Scope Mechanical Industry Standard of the People's Republic of China 1:24 (UG) Taper Gauge JB/T 8789-1998 This standard specifies the type and size, accuracy grade and tolerance, technical requirements, inspection rules, marking and packaging of 1:24 taper gauges.
