When more than two electrode joints are packed in the same carton, the joints are separated by corrugated paper or foam plastic boards. 3.2.3 When the electrode and joint are connected as one, the electrode joint hole and the joint are packed with foam plastic covers, and then packed in wooden boxes and wooden frame bottom trays, and tied with strapping steel belts. 3.2.4 High-purity graphite materials and their products are packed in wooden boxes, lined with corrugated paper or soft fillers and plastic cloth, and tied with strapping steel belts. 3.2.5 The packaging of graphite anodes shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of GB3424. 3.2.6 Carbon blocks for blast furnaces are packed in wooden boxes and wooden frame bottom trays, the lining is wrapped with plastic cloth, and tied with strapping steel belts. 3.2.7 Bulk carbon materials are packed in wooden boxes, iron boxes (simple), gunny bags or woven bags. 3.2.8 If the user has special requirements, it shall be in accordance with the agreement between the supply and demand parties. Approved by the State Bureau of Technical Supervision on November 11, 199722 Implementation on May 1, 1998 3.3 Packaging requirements GB/T 8719-1997 3.3.1 High-purity graphite materials and their products: The packaging site, tools and materials should be strictly cleaned to prevent the products from being contaminated by dust and sewage. Fragile and miniature parts must be packed with soft fillers to prevent loosening and damage during transportation. Bulk materials are not allowed to leak. 3.3.2 Carbon blocks for blast furnaces: The packaging site, tools and materials should be cleaned, and the space between the product and the wooden box must be filled with soft fillers such as corrugated paper or foam plastics. The wooden box should be firm and not deformed to prevent loosening and damage during transportation. 3.3.3 Other carbon materials and their products: The packaging site, tools and materials should be cleaned, the products should be fixed when packaged, and the fragile parts should be packed with soft fillers to prevent loosening and damage during transportation. Bulk materials are not allowed to leak. 3.3.4 The weight of each piece for manual loading and unloading shall not exceed 25kg, and the weight of each piece for mechanical loading and unloading shall not exceed 5000kg. 4 Marking 4.1 The finished electrode shall be marked with a safety line mark on the electrode surface corresponding to the bottom of the joint hole. 4.1.1 Graphite electrodes shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of YB4088. 4.1.2 High-power graphite electrodes shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of YB4089. 4.1.3 Ultra-high-power graphite electrodes shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of YB4090. 4.2 The grade, weight, etc. shall be clearly marked on the end of the finished electrode. 4.3 The name of the manufacturer, product brand, model, specification, grade, quantity, gross weight, net weight, etc. shall be marked on the obvious part of the outer surface of the package, and each product shall be accompanied by a certificate of conformity or a qualified mark. 4.4 The transportation mark and marking method on the goods shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of GB191. 4.5 If the user has special requirements, it shall be in accordance with the agreement between the supply and demand parties. 5 Storage and transportation 5.1 Carbon materials and their products shall be placed in clean warehouses according to category, variety, specification and performance to prevent moisture and external contamination. Various types of carbon paste can be placed in a clean outdoor area and stacked separately by variety and shall not be mixed. 5.2 Carbon materials and their products must be transported by vehicles or ships with covers or tarpaulins, and various types of carbon pastes can be transported by vehicles or ships without covers or tarpaulins. 5.3 The bottom of the vehicle and ship and the contact parts should be cleaned before loading. 5.4 Products are transported in bulk and should be lifted and placed gently during loading and unloading, and neatly stacked. Soft cushioning should be laid on the bottom of the transport vehicle, and small wooden wedges should be used to fix the products to prevent sliding and causing collision and damage to the products. 6 Quality Certificate 6.1 Carbon materials and their products should be accompanied by product quality certificates when they are shipped in batches.
