Implementation of Appendix A (Supplement) and Appendix B (Supplement) 4 Test methods
4.1 Test chemicals
The chemicals used in this standard are all chemically pure. The various solutions used in this standard are for one-time use. The developer ink used in this standard is a special developer ink for positive PS plates. 4.2 Appearance inspection
·Qualified
Visually observe the plate surface under a yellow safety light. The plate surface should be flat, evenly coated, and free of creases, scratches, dirt spots, and bubbles. 4.3 Determination of plate surface roughness R value
Take a sample, remove the photosensitive layer with a solvent, and then rinse it with clean water. Cool it to room temperature, and use a roughness tester with an accuracy of 0.01μm to select the corresponding sampling length, and test any five locations along the diagonal of the sample and at a distance of more than 10cm from the edge of the plate. The arithmetic mean is taken as the Ra value of the plate base, and the maximum value minus the minimum value measured is the deviation of the same plate. Randomly select 3 plates from every 1000 plates in the same batch (if there are less than 1000 plates, they can be counted as 1000 plates) to measure the surface roughness Ra value, and take the maximum value minus the minimum value of all Ra values as the surface roughness Ra deviation of the batch of products. 4.4 Determination of plate base surface oxide layer quality
4.4.1 Preparation of treatment
In a beaker with a scale, add 500-800nL of distilled water, then add 20g of anhydrous chromium trioxide, dissolve it, add 35mL of 85% phosphoric acid, and then dilute it to 1000mL with distilled water, and mix well. 4.4.2 Determination
Cut three test pieces larger than 5cm×5cm from the diagonal direction of the sample, more than 10cm away from the edge. After removing the photosensitive layer on the plate surface using the same method as 4.3, apply 20% sodium oxychloride solution to the back of the aluminum plate to remove the oxide layer on the back. 1m after coating, neutralize the alkali solution on the aluminum plate surface with 10% nitric acid solution, rinse with distilled water, dry, and then accurately cut into 5cm×5cm test pieces (accurate to 1mm). Weigh the test piece with a 1/10000 balance (accurate to 0.1 mg), immerse the weighed test piece in 250 mL of the treatment solution prepared in 4.4.1, and control the temperature at 95-100°C. Take out the test piece after 5 min, rinse with clean water, dry, and cool to room temperature. Weigh the test piece accurately again and calculate the unit area mass of the oxide layer on the substrate surface of each test piece according to formula (1): WA = (mj-m2) / 0.0025
Wherein, WA is the mass of the oxide layer on the substrate surface, g/m; the mass of the test piece without removing the oxide layer on the substrate surface, g; m2 is the mass of the test piece after removing the oxide layer on the substrate surface, g; 0.002 3 Test piece area, m2.
Take the arithmetic mean of the test results of the three test pieces as the quality of the oxide layer on the base surface of the plate. Among the three test pieces, the maximum measurement value minus the minimum measurement value is the intra-plate deviation of the oxide layer quality of the plate. (1)
The intra-batch deviation is based on the ratio of 3 randomly selected plates for every 1000 plates (if less than 1000 plates can be counted as 1000 plates). The difference between the maximum and minimum values in each test block is the same batch deviation of the oxide layer quality of the batch of products. 4.5 Plate surface smooth layer quality disc determination
In the area along the diagonal of the sample, more than 10 cm away from the edge, accurately cut three test pieces of 5cm×5cm (accurate to 1mm). Then weigh with a 1/10000 balance (accurate to 0.1 mg. Use the same method as in 4.3 to remove the photosensitive layer and weigh the mass of the test piece accurately again. The mass of the photosensitive layer is calculated according to formula (2): Wg = (mm)/0.0025
Where: Wg - mass of the photosensitive layer on the plate, g/”m - mass of the test piece without removing the photosensitive layer, gm - mass of the test piece after removing the photosensitive layer, g; 0.002 5 - area of the test piece, m2.
Take the arithmetic mean of the test results of the three test pieces as the quality of the photosensitive layer of the plate. The difference between the maximum and minimum values of the quality of the photosensitive layer of the three test pieces is the intra-plate deviation of the quality of the photosensitive layer. (2)
In the same batch, randomly select 3 sheets for every 1000 sheets (if there are less than 1000 sheets, they can be counted as 1000 sheets) to measure the quality of the photosensitive layer. The difference between the maximum and minimum values of each test piece is the intra-batch deviation of the quality of the photosensitive layer. 4.6 Determination of photosensitivity
4.6.1 Determination of resolution
Use a special PS plate imaging performance test strip and follow the conditions recommended by the manufacturer at a voltage of 220V using a 3kW iodine Light, 1m away, normal exposure for 30s~90s, after development, observe the image of the test piece with a 30x magnifying glass, the width of the line that can clearly distinguish both black and white lines is the resolution of the test piece, and the continuous line without breaks should be used as the standard for judgment. 4.6.2 Determination of dot reproduction ability
Use a special PS plate imaging performance test strip marked with a dot area of 0.5%~99.5%, with a line number of 601/cm. According to 4.6.1, expose the sample to the sun and develop it, and then observe the dot reproduction of the test piece with a 30x magnifying glass. 4.6.3 Determination of plate base color
4.6.3.1 Determination instrument
Reflection densitometer.
4. 6.3.2 Determination method
The sample is exposed and developed according to 4.6.1, rinsed with water, and dried. Then, the background color of half of the test piece is removed with a solvent. The density of the part with the background color not removed and the density of the part with the background color removed are measured with a reflection densitometer. The difference between the two density values is the base color of the plate. 4.7 Ink performance and hydrophilicity
Use a special PS plate imaging performance test strip with a scale density difference of 0.15. Expose and develop according to the conditions of 4.6.1. Use a resin gauze to remove the ink on the plate. After rinsing with clean water, visually observe the inking situation. The part of the scale with a density of 0.35 and below should not be inked, and the part with a density of 0.80 and 0.80 should not be inked. The above parts should be inked completely. 4.8 Dimensions and specifications

For printing plates with a width less than or equal to 500mm, the "d\ value is measured at the actual width of the printing plate using a right-angle measuring instrument or a T-square. For printing plates with a width greater than 500mm, *d is a value measured at 500mm and extrapolated to the actual width of the printing plate. The actual value of "d\ can be directly obtained by using the right-angle ruler extrapolation method. A3 naming method
