Issued on July 26, 2005
Implementation on January 1, 2006
Issued by the National Development and Reform Commission of the People's Republic of China Foreword
This standard is a revision of QB/T1995-1994 "Industrial gelatin". Compared with QB/T1995-1994, this standard has the following major revisions: The classification method and some technical indicators of industrial gelatin have been adjusted: The water content of the sample itself is no longer considered during testing; QB/T1995-2005
renamed the jelly strength to the freezing strength, deleted the determination of freezing concentration, added the determination of pH and heavy metals (in terms of Pb), revised the determination methods of moisture, freezing strength, ash content and water-insoluble matter, etc.; revised the inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation and storage. This standard was proposed by the China Light Industry Federation. This standard is under the jurisdiction of the Gelatin Branch of the China Daily Chemical Industry Association. This standard was drafted by the National Light Industry Three-Gel Product Quality Supervision and Inspection Center (Beijing), and Shanghai Shuangfenggu Gelatin Co., Ltd., Wenzhou Sanhesheng Gelatin Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Pingyang County Sanming Food Additive Factory, Zhejiang Feipeng Gelatin Co., Ltd., and Jiangsu Hai'an County Shenyu Gelatin Co., Ltd. participated in the drafting.
This standard was first issued in 1981, revised for the first time in 1994, and this is the second revision. From the date of implementation, this standard replaces the light industry standard QB/T1995-1994 "Industrial Gelatin" issued by the former China Light Industry Association. 1 Scope

Unless otherwise specified, only reagents confirmed as analytically pure and distilled water or deionized water or water of equivalent purity are used in the analysis. The solutions required for the determination are all aqueous solutions unless otherwise specified, and their concentrations are expressed in mass fractions. The water content of the sample itself is not considered during the test. 4.1 Preparation of test solution
Weigh a certain amount of industrial gelatin, accurate to 0.1g, put it into a dry and clean container, add a certain amount of water, and place it at a room temperature of about 20℃ for 2h to allow it to fully absorb water and swell. Then place the container in a water bath at 65℃ and dissolve it into a uniform liquid within 15min. Finally, add water to reach the specified concentration.
4.2 Water
4.2.1 Principle
Bake the industrial gelatin at 105℃ to constant weight, and calculate the water content of the industrial gelatin based on the reduction in mass. 4.2.2 Instruments
4.2.2.1 Glass weighing bottle or aluminum box or stainless steel box. 4.2.2.2 Drying oven: controllable temperature at (105±2)℃4.2.2.3 Analytical balance.
4.2.3 Analysis steps
4.2.3.1 Place a glass flat weighing bottle (or aluminum box or stainless steel box) with known constant weight in a drying oven at (105±2)℃, with the bottle cap tilted on the bottle side, heat for 0.5h~h, and take it out. Cover it, cool it in a desiccator for 0.5h, weigh it, and repeat the drying to constant weight, accurate to 1mg.
4.2.3.2 Weigh (1±0.1)g of industrial gelatin, accurate to 1m, put it in a weighing bottle, cover it, weigh it accurately, and place it in a (105±2)℃ oven, with the bottle cap tilted on the bottle side, heat it for 2h~4h, cover the weighing bottle tightly in the oven, take it out and place it in a desiccator, cool it to room temperature, and weigh it on an analytical balance. .
4.2.3.3 Move the weighing bottle to the oven again and dry for 0.5h, then take it out and place it in a desiccator, cool it to room temperature, and weigh it on an analytical balance. The difference between the two masses is less than 2m, which is constant weight. 4.2.4 Calculation of results
The moisture content in the sample is expressed in %, calculated according to formula (1). Xm-m2x100
Where:
X, — the moisture content in the sample, %: m
m — the mass of the weighing bottle and the sample after drying, in grams (g): m. — the mass of the weighing bottle, in grams (g). The calculation result is expressed to one decimal place. 4.2.5 Precision
The absolute difference between two independent determination results obtained under repeatability conditions is not greater than 0.4%. 4.3 Blaine viscosity
4.3.1 Principle
At 60℃, measure the time it takes for 100mL of industrial gelatin solution (12.5%) to flow through a standard capillary, and then convert it into a viscosity value. 4.3.2 Instrument
4.3.2.1 Assembly Blaine viscometer: volume 100mL, mainly composed of the upper funnel and the standard capillary at the bottom (see Figure 1). When installing, the instrument should have a constant temperature jacket to keep it at a constant temperature of (60±0.1)℃. 4.3.2.2 Super thermostat: The constant temperature can be adjusted to (600.1)℃. 4.3.2.3 Stopwatch: accurate to 0.1s.
4.3.2.4 Erlenmeyer flask: 250mL

4.3.3.1 Prepare industrial gelatin solution (12.5%) in a conical flask. The amount required for one measurement is 100 mL. Cool the gelatin solution to about 61°C. 4.3.3.2 Turn on the super thermostat to make the temperature of the water flowing through the viscometer jacket (60±0.1)°C. 4.3.3.3 Use your finger to hold the end of the capillary tube, and avoid air or foam from entering. Quickly pour the glue into the viscometer until it exceeds the upper scale line by 2 cm~3 cm
