1 Subject content and scope of application
GB 16151. 1—1996
This standard specifies the technical requirements for the operation safety of the complete wheeled tractor and its engine, transmission system, travel system, steering system, brake system, light signal, etc.
This standard applies to the operation safety technical inspection of two-axle wheeled agricultural tractors with pneumatic tires (hereinafter referred to as tractors). 2 Reference standards

3.1 Dimensions of the outer contour when with trailer:

3.2 Factory signs, numbers and marks are complete, with clear handwriting and intact license plates, and are placed in the specified positions. According to the provisions of GB10396, necessary safety signs are set in conspicuous places.
3.3 The appearance is neat, the machine parts, instruments, seals and auxiliary equipment are complete and intact, the connection is tight, the operation is flexible, the clutch, brake and accelerator pedals can return to their positions automatically, and the parts shall not be modified to hinder the operation, affect the safety and limit the performance of the original machine. 3.4 All pipe joints, valves, sealing gaskets, oil seals, water seals, screw plugs and joint surface gaskets are complete and intact, with tight joints and no oil, air or water leakage.
3.5 For any moving parts that may cause injury, such as starting claws, fans, V-belts, pulleys, transmission chains, universal shafts, power output shafts, etc., where they may come into contact with the human body, protective plates, covers, sleeves or guardrails must be installed, and all protective facilities shall comply with the provisions of GB10395.1. 3.6 The noise level of tractors shall comply with the provisions of GB6376, including the external dynamic environmental noise limit: 86dB (A) for 44.1kW or less, 88dB (A) for 44.1~73.5kW, 90dB (A) for 73.5kW or more, and the ear noise limit: 95dB (A) for 14.7kW or less, 96dB (A) for 14.773.5kW, and 98dB (A) for 73.5kW or more; 85 dB (A) for those with quiet cabs.
3.7 The inspection methods for the provisions of this standard on noise, power, fuel consumption, steering, braking, hydraulic lifting, etc. can be implemented in accordance with the provisions of GB/T3871.1~~3871.12.
4 Engine
4.1 Good starting performance. It is allowed to use the starting auxiliary device or measures of the original engine, and it can start smoothly under the following ambient temperature and starting time conditions, and the number of starts shall not exceed 3 times, with an interval of 2 minutes each time. a. Manual cranking: not less than 5℃, not more than 30s each time; b. Electric starting: not less than 0℃, not more than 5.5 each time; c. Gasoline engine starting: not less than 5℃, not more than 2min each time. 4.2 The rapid and maximum idling speed are normal, the operation is stable, and there is no abnormal sound; the operation can be stopped by closing the throttle or pulling out the flameout button. 4.3 Under normal temperature and load, the exhaust smoke color is normal. According to the provisions of GB3846, the free acceleration emission smoke value of the diesel engine shall comply with the provisions of GB3843: not more than Rb5.0 for new vehicles and not more than Rb6.0 for used vehicles. 4.4 The power shall not be less than 85% of the rated power, and the fuel consumption rate shall not be higher than 15% of the rated fuel consumption rate. 4.5 The water temperature, oil temperature, oil pressure and fuel pressure data during normal operation shall comply with the regulations. 5 Transmission system
5.1 The housings of the clutch, gearbox, rear axle, final transmission box, power output device and starter transmission mechanism are free of cracks. During operation, there is no abnormal noise or abnormal temperature rise.
5.2 The free travel of the clutch pedal meets the specified requirements, the separation is complete, the engagement is smooth, there is no slipping, and there is no shaking; the pedal operating force is not more than 350N (double-acting clutch is not more than 400N). 5.3 The universal joint, coupling, and transmission shaft are assembled correctly and well matched; the transmission V-belt and roller chain are installed correctly and have appropriate tightness. 5.4 The gear shifting operation is flexible, without random gears or skipping gears. The gear lever operating force: when parking and shifting, it is not more than 200N; the operating force of the power output lever is not more than 200N.
5.5 The differential lock works reliably, and the handle or pedal should return quickly without sticking. 6 Frame and running system
6.1 The frame is intact, not deformed, without cracks and serious rust. 6.2 The front axle is not deformed, without cracks, and the rear axle housing and engine bracket are not cracked. 6.3 The wheel hub is intact and the installation is appropriately tight.
6.4 The rim, spoke plate and locking ring are not cracked or deformed, and the nuts are complete and reliably fastened. 6.5 Tires
6.5.1 The tire model should comply with the original vehicle regulations. The inner pad is not allowed to be wrapped outside. It is not allowed to install driving wheels with flat tread and guide wheels with tread height less than 3.2mm. There should be no exposed lines on the tire sidewall and tread, and there should be no cracks and cuts with a length greater than 25mm and a depth sufficient to expose the cord layer. 6.5.2 The driving tire tread direction should not be installed in reverse (except in the desert). The left and right tires on the same axle should have the same model and tread, and the degree of wear should be roughly the same.

6.5.3 Tractors engaged in transport operations are not allowed to be equipped with high-tread tires. 6.5.4 The tire pressure must meet the specified requirements and be consistent from left to right. 6.6 The toe-in value of the front wheels must meet the original machine regulations. 6.7 The original weight of the tires must be complete. 6.8 Tractors with adjustable wheelbases should usually use the factory wheelbase; after the inter-row operation is completed, the factory wheelbase should be restored in time. 6.9 Mudguards should be installed on the front and rear wheels according to the factory wheelbase. 7 Steering system
7.1 The maximum free travel of the steering wheel is 30. 7.2 Steering is light and flexible on flat, dry and hard roads, and there should be no swinging, shaking, deviation and other abnormal phenomena. 7.3 The turning circle radius or the minimum turning radius meets the specified parameters. 7.4 Steering wheel operating force: mechanical steering gear is not more than 250N, full hydraulic steering gear is not more than 15N (when the engine is turned off, the gear pump stops, and the manual steering pump works, it is not more than 600N). 7.5 The connection between the steering drop arm, the steering knuckle arm and the longitudinal and transverse tie rods between them is reliable and not deformed, the ball head clearance and the front wheel bearing clearance are appropriate, and the front wheel shall not have visible swing when driving at high speed on a flat road section. 7.6 When the full hydraulic guide wheel turns from the extreme position on one side to the extreme position on the other side, the number of steering wheel turns shall not exceed 5 circles. 7.7 The oil level of the hydraulic steering system is normal, the oil quality is qualified, there is no leakage anywhere, and there is no air in the oil circuit. 8 Braking system
8.1 The left and right brake pedals must have reliable interlocking devices and positioning devices. 8.2 The free travel of the brake pedal shall meet the specified requirements; the braking should be smooth, sensitive and reliable, the braking capacity of the brakes on both sides should be basically the same, and the foot surface of the left and right pedals should be located on the same plane. 8.3 After the brake pedal produces the maximum braking effect, it must have a reserve stroke of more than one-fifth. 8.4 The maximum operating force of the brake pedal shall not exceed 600N, and the maximum operating force of the brake handle shall not exceed 400N. 8.5 Tractor groups using pneumatic brake systems must: 8.5.1 be equipped with an air compressor and an air tank with a drain valve. The capacity of the air tank should ensure that the air pressure is not less than 392kPa for 5 consecutive full brakes when the machine is stopped;
8.5.2 There is no air leakage in all parts of the brake system. When the air pressure rises to 590kPa, the air pressure drop value does not exceed 9.8kPa when the machine is stopped for 3 minutes without using the brake;
8.5.3 When the engine is started and running at medium speed, the pressure indicated on the barometer should rise from 0 to 392 kPa within 4 minutes (6 minutes with trailer);
8.5.4 The air tank should be equipped with a pressure limiting device to ensure that the air pressure does not exceed the maximum allowable pressure of 785 ± 50 kPa. 8.6 For tractors with hydraulic brake system, the brake oil level should be normal, the oil quality should be qualified, and the oil circuit should not leak or take in air. When the brake pedal pressure is the maximum, it should be maintained for 1 minute, and the pedal should not move slowly towards the bottom plate. 8.7 When the vehicle is traveling at a speed of 20 km/h on a dry and flat concrete or asphalt road surface without a trailer or farm implements, with full fuel and water and the specified maximum counterweight, the braking distance S or average deceleration α shall comply with the following provisions: 8.7.1 Braking distance

8.8 At an initial speed of 20 km/h, in case of cold emergency braking, the difference between the left and right wheel drag marks shall not exceed 400mm. 3

8.9 After the brakes of a tractor are locked, it should be able to stop on a longitudinal dry hard slope with a slope of 20% in both the uphill and downhill directions. 9 Lighting signals and other electrical devices
9.1 Electrical devices should be installed securely; all switches should be easy to operate and switch freely, and should not be automatically connected or closed due to vibration. 9.2 Electrical equipment and lines should not produce short circuits or open circuits; if any line of the lighting and signaling device fails, it should not interfere with the normal operation of other lines.
9.3 The generator should work well and the battery should maintain normal voltage; the electrical wires should be bundled, arranged neatly, fixed and clamped, the joints should be secure and have insulating sleeves; when the wires pass through holes, insulating sleeves should be installed. 9.4 Wheeled tractors shall have the following lighting devices. The installation position, light color and minimum geometric visibility angle shall refer to the provisions of GB4785;
9.4.1 Two headlights, one on each side, with the light source power meeting the requirements of the original vehicle; the use of light distribution performance and beam adjustment shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of GB4599, GB7454 and JB/T6701; 9.4.2 Two front position lights (width lights), one on each side, with a light source of 3 to 5W; 9.4.3 At least one rear light (working light), with a light source of 28 to 45W; 9.4.4 At least one rear position light (tail light), with a light source of 3 to 5W; 9.4.5 Brake 2 lights, one on each side of the rear of the tractor, with a light source of 15-25W; 9.4.6 No less than one fog light, installed in front of the vehicle, with the upper edge height not exceeding the headlight; fog lights are not required when the headlight is yellow; 9.4.7 One rear license plate light, which can illuminate the entire rear license plate surface when the light is on, and physiological visibility: the license plate code can be seen clearly at 20m in good weather at night; 9.4.8 Four turn signal lights, one on each side of the front and rear of the tractor, with a light source of 10-15W, and the flash frequency should be 1.50.5Hz;
9.4.9 No less than one instrument light, which can illuminate all the instruments on the dashboard without dazzling; 9.4.10 No less than one ceiling light.
9.5 The headlight should be equipped with a high-beam and low-beam conversion device. When the high beam is on at night, the distance ahead that can be illuminated should be 5-7 times the maximum vehicle speed per second; when the low beam is on, all high beams should be able to be extinguished at the same time. 9.6 The front position lamp, rear position lamp, trailer sign lamp, license plate lamp and instrument lamp can be turned on and off at the same time, and can be lit when the headlight is turned on and off and the engine is turned off.
9.7 The front and rear position lamps, turn signal lamps, brake lamps, etc. can share double-filament bulbs with each other or with other lamps, but the brightness must meet the functional requirements of each lamp.
9.8 The turn indicator lamp corresponding to the driving direction should be set on the dashboard of the cab. 9.9 For the unit composed of a trailer, if the rear position lamp, brake lamp, turn signal lamp and license plate lamp are already installed at the rear of the trailer, it is allowed not to install these four lamps at the rear of the tractor.
9.10 The physiological visibility of the turn signal lamp and brake lamp: visible at a distance of 30m in the sun; visible at a distance of 300m in good weather at night. The front and rear position lamps are visible at a distance of 300m in good weather at night.
9.11 A low-noise horn should be installed, with a pleasant sound and no strange noise. The sound level should be 8dB(A) greater than the dynamic ambient noise level outside the machine. 9.12 The cab must be equipped with a sensitive and effective automatic wiper and a sunshade. 10 Hydraulic suspension and traction equipment
10.1 The hydraulic suspension mechanism works sensitively and there should be no noise or shaking during lifting. When the lifting frame is loaded with the maximum lifting force and the oil temperature is 65±5℃, the lifting time shall not exceed 3s, and the static settlement value of 30min shall not exceed 4% of the lifting stroke. 10.2 The oil level of the hydraulic system is normal, and there should be no oil leakage or seepage at the joints and seams of each part under working pressure. 10.3 The operating force of the hydraulic system control handle shall not exceed 70N. 10.4 The lifting and lowering control handle of the split hydraulic system should be able to remain in the "neutral" or "floating" position. When the cylinder piston rises to the limit position, the handle should automatically return to the "neutral" position. 4

10.5 The semi-split and integral hydraulic system operating handles should be able to move flexibly. The operating response of the handle should conform to the marked position on the fan-shaped plate. 10.6 The rods of the hydraulic suspension and traction device should be free of cracks, damage, and deformation, and should be properly adjusted. The limit chains, safety chains, latches, and lock pins should be complete and intact, and the pin holes should not be abnormally worn.
11 Cab, outer cover and others
11.1 Doors and windows should be easy to open and close, and can be closed tightly. 11.2 There must be a safe accommodation range and anti-rollover safety frame that comply with the provisions of GB7121; the driver's seat must have a safety belt that complies with the provisions of GB6237.
11.3 The cab shall have at least two emergency exits that are not on the same plane and can be easily opened from the cab, including the normal entry and exit door; the minimum cross-sectional dimension of the emergency exit shall be an ellipse with a major axis of 640mm and a minor axis of 440mm. 11.4 There shall be no sharp protrusions that can cause injury inside, outside or on the outer cover of the cab, and its non-metallic parts shall have a high ability to resist burning.
11.5 The cab shall have a good field of vision all around, and the front windshield shall be made of safety glass with good transparency. Organic glass and ordinary glass shall not be used.
11.6 The driver's seat shall be comfortable, firmly fixed, and adjustable forward and backward. 11.7 The operating parts in the cab shall be reasonably arranged and easy to operate. According to the provisions of GB4269.1~4269.2, operating symbols and other symbols shall be set.
11.8 The cab must be equipped with non-slip pedals and handles for climbing. The height of the first step of the cab of a high-clearance tractor from the ground shall not exceed 550 mm.
11.9 The original covers such as the radiator cover, engine hood, V-belt or transmission chain cover, tire fender, power output shaft cover, etc. must be complete.
11.10 Two license plate holders must be installed, one in the middle or right part of the front and the other in the middle or left part of the rear. 11.11 A rearview mirror shall be installed on each side of the front. The position shall be appropriate, and the image in the mirror shall be clear, so that the traffic behind the vehicle body and the working conditions of the farm implements can be clearly seen.
11.12 The fuel tank and battery shall not be installed in the cab, and the distance between them and the exhaust pipe shall not be less than 300 mm, or an effective heat insulation device shall be installed.
11.13 The exhaust pipe must be equipped with a device that can extinguish the exhaust gas sparks. 11.14 The installation position and direction of the exhaust pipe outlet should ensure that the exhaust gas does not harm the health of the driver or other operators. 11.15 Protective measures should be taken for exposed parts that are prone to burns to ensure safety in the event of unintentional contact. 11.16 The exterior color should be coordinated and not affect safety and appearance. This standard was drafted by the Jiangsu Provincial Agricultural Machinery Safety Supervision Institute, Nantong Agricultural Machinery Safety Supervision Institute, and Nantong Agricultural Mechanization Research Institute.

10.1 The hydraulic suspension mechanism works sensitively and there should be no noise or shaking during lifting. When the lifting frame is loaded with the maximum lifting force and the oil temperature is 65±5℃, the lifting time shall not exceed 3s, and the static settlement value of 30min shall not exceed 4% of the lifting stroke. 10.2 The oil level of the hydraulic system is normal, and there should be no oil leakage or seepage at the joints and seams of each part under working pressure. 10.3 The operating force of the hydraulic system control handle shall not exceed 70N. 10.4 The lifting and lowering control handle of the split hydraulic system should be able to remain in the "neutral" or "floating" position. 10.5 The control handles of the semi-split and integral hydraulic systems should be able to move flexibly. The handle operation response conforms to the marked position on the fan-shaped plate. 10.6 The rods of the hydraulic suspension and traction device are free of cracks, damage, and deformation, and are properly adjusted. The limit chain, safety chain, and all latches and lock pins are complete and intact, and the pin holes are free of abnormal wear.
11 Cab, outer cover and others
11.1 Doors and windows should be easy to open and close and can be closed tightly. 11.2 There must be a safe accommodation range and anti-rollover safety frame that comply with the provisions of GB7121; the driver's seat must have a seat belt that complies with the provisions of GB6237. bzxz.net
11.3 The cab shall have at least two emergency exits that are not on the same plane and can be easily opened from the cab, including the normal entry and exit door; the minimum cross-sectional dimension of the emergency exit shall be an ellipse with a major axis of 640mm and a minor axis of 440mm. 11.4 There shall be no sharp protrusions that can cause injury inside, outside or on the outer cover of the cab, and its non-metallic parts shall have a high ability to resist burning.
11.5 The cab shall have a good field of vision all around, and the front windshield shall be made of safety glass with good transparency. Organic glass and ordinary glass shall not be used.
11.6 The driver's seat shall be comfortable, firmly fixed, and adjustable forward and backward. 11.7 The operating parts in the cab shall be reasonably arranged and easy to operate. According to the provisions of GB4269.1~4269.2, operating symbols and other symbols shall be set.
11.8 The cab must be equipped with non-slip pedals and handles for climbing. The height of the first step of the cab of a high-clearance tractor from the ground shall not exceed 550 mm.
11.9 The original covers such as the radiator cover, engine hood, V-belt or transmission chain cover, tire fender, power output shaft cover, etc. must be complete.
11.10 Two license plate holders must be installed, one in the middle or right part of the front and the other in the middle or left part of the rear. 11.11 A rearview mirror shall be installed on each side of the front.
