JB/T4311.3-1991
The furnace body is a horizontal structure, mainly composed of two parts: the furnace body and the trolley. The trolley has wheels and can be dragged away from the furnace body along the track to load and unload the charge. Trolley furnaces with a maximum operating temperature not exceeding 750°C should be equipped with fans to force convection heating of the charge. When the heating element is required to be set in another area that does not directly radiate the working area, and then the fan blows the hot air into the furnace chamber, it can be proposed according to Article 9.2. The trolley furnace with a maximum working temperature exceeding 750℃ should also be equipped with a fan when necessary to increase the heating speed and meet the furnace temperature uniformity requirements. 5.2.2 Furnace body
The furnace body consists of furnace light, door, furnace lining, heating elements and air circulation system. 5.2.2.1 Furnace shell
The furnace shell is welded by steel and steel plates, except for some parts that must be assembled and connected with bolts on site. The entire furnace shell should have sufficient strength and rigidity. Fasteners that penetrate the furnace lining should be used as little as possible on the inner wall of the furnace shell. The furnace door frame or furnace panel where the furnace door opening is located should be made of materials with small thermal deformation, and its structure should be able to avoid warping. If necessary, the part that is radiated by heat when the furnace door is lifted should be water-cooled. 5.2.2.2 Furnace lining
For trolley furnaces with a maximum operating temperature below 600℃, it is recommended to use aluminized steel plates or stainless steel plates with a thickness of not less than 2mm as lining in the furnace shell, and fill the space between the outer wall of the furnace shell and the inner lining with mineral wool, refractory fiber or similar non-powdering, non-hardening block insulation materials. Other types of trolley furnaces only use refractory insulation materials as linings. Among them, the lining of Class C furnaces, except for the load-bearing and collision-prone parts, is made of refractory fiber.
The material and structure of the lining should meet the requirements for the performance of the trolley (see Article 5.3). The overhaul period of the lining should comply with the provisions of Table 3.

5.2.2.3 Heating elements
The design and fixation of heating elements shall meet the heating requirements of the trolley furnace. The elements shall be firmly installed and shall not be displaced or loosened under normal working conditions.
Trolley furnaces with a maximum operating temperature not exceeding 1200℃ shall use metal heating elements. For those exceeding 1200℃, heating elements made of silicon carbide or other suitable materials may be used. When silicon carbide elements are used, a multi-tap transformer or other voltage regulating device with not less than 8 taps shall be equipped. The service life of the heating element is limited to the input power of the trolley furnace at the rated power supply voltage (or for trolley furnaces using silicon carbide elements, at the highest operating voltage) being 15% less than the rated power, and shall comply with the provisions of Table 4. Table 4

type. For furnace doors exceeding 900mm, it is recommended to use power-driven vertical lifting type. Manual furnace doors should have balancing weights and mechanical guide devices; the force to lift the furnace door should not exceed 180N. When the furnace door is closed, the furnace door should be evenly sealed with the furnace door frame (or furnace panel) and the trolley. The furnace door should preferably be made of refractory fiber, or the same refractory insulation material as the furnace wall, so that the surface temperature of the furnace door can meet the requirements of Article 5.3.6. When the furnace door is in the open position, the furnace inlet size should not be less than the corresponding size of the working area specified for the trolley furnace of this specification. If necessary, the furnace door should be able to be locked after opening.
For trolley furnaces with a maximum operating temperature exceeding 750°C, there should be a sealed observation hole on the furnace door. 5.2.2.5 Air circulation system
In order to achieve the specified furnace temperature uniformity and increase the heating speed, the furnace design should be in accordance with Section 5.2.1. Equipped with necessary air ducts, baffles, adjustable air guides, heat shields, exhaust holes, circulating fans and their control devices. The fan should be interlocked with the heating power supply so that the heating power supply can be automatically cut off when the fan fails. Heating parts such as fan blades should be made of heat-resistant steel. Bearings and seals should be reliably cooled.
The fan should be calibrated by dynamic balancing test. The service life of heating metal parts such as fan blades should be not less than one year. 5.2.3 Trolley
The trolley is mainly composed of chassis, refractory insulation layer, furnace bed and wheels made of steel. The wheels should be equipped with bearings. The trolley is automatically guided on the track and can move freely when empty or fully loaded, cold or hot. The chassis of the trolley is made of steel plate and reinforced with steel sections. A refractory insulation layer is provided on the bottom plate. Its material and thickness should be able to carry the specified weight of furnace charge and protect the metal structural parts of the trolley from deformation due to furnace temperature. The furnace bed shall be made into pier type, perforated plate type or other types when necessary to facilitate uniform distribution of load and circulation of hot air. For Class A, Class B and Class C furnaces, the furnace bed shall not produce deformation that hinders normal use within the service life of two years, three years and four years respectively. The working height of the trolley, that is, the height from the track surface to the charging surface of the trolley shall not exceed 1000mm. Special circumstances shall be agreed upon by the supplier and the buyer (see Article 9.2).
The trolley shall have a mechanical positioning structure and shall be able to hit a rigid support and stop automatically after entering the furnace body so as to align the position and ensure the sealing and safety of the furnace.
A seal shall be added along the entire periphery between the bottom of the trolley and the inner wall of the furnace body. The sealing layer may be made of refractory fiber, or sand seal or a sealing structure required by the buyer (see Article 9.2). The sealing structure shall be able to minimize the heat loss of the furnace and ensure the uniformity of the furnace temperature. When there are regulations or requirements (see Article 9.2), the trolley shall be equipped with a full set of electric drive systems and soft start control systems to drive the trolley in and out of the furnace body.
