Chemical Industry Standard of the People's Republic of China
Filter Elements for Magnetic Slurry Filtration
Flow Test Method
Subject Content and Scope of Application
This standard specifies the test method for the flow rate of filter elements for magnetic slurry filtration at a specified pressure drop. HG/T2353.2---92
This standard applies to filter elements for magnetic slurry filtration in the magnetic recording material industry, and also to filter elements for other liquid filtration. 2 Method Ticket
Under a given pressure drop, a liquid with a certain kinematic viscosity is passed through the filter element to be tested, and the volume of the liquid passing through the filter element per unit time is recorded.
3 Test device and test liquid
3.1 Test device
The filter element flow test device is shown in the figure below. Schematic diagram of the filter element flow test device
1-Mold: 2-Pump: 3-Shutoff valve: 4-Test filter: 5-Differential pressure gauge: 6-Thermometer: 7-Radiator: 8Flowmeter3.1.1 Storage tank: The bottom is 60°~90°conical, and the volume is about 2 times that of the test liquid. A transparent tube should be set in its return pipe to observe whether there is air entering.
3.1.2 Pump: Installed on the pipeline near the bottom of the storage tank, its pressure range is 0~0.4MPa, and the flow rate is 0~200L/min. 3.1.3 Differential pressure gauge: range is 0~0.4MPa, accuracy is 0.4 level. 3.1.4 Thermometer: range is 0~100℃, accuracy is 1℃, 3.1.5 Flow meter: range is 0200L/min, accuracy is 1.5 level. 3.2 Test fluid
Test fluid is drinking water or HY-10 aviation hydraulic oil. Ministry of Chemical Industry of the People's Republic of China approved on July 20, 1992 14

4 Test procedure
4 .1 Cleaning test system
HG/T2353.2—92
Fill the tank with test liquid, purify the test system with a non-tested filter element with a nominal accuracy of 5μm for 30 minutes, and then remove the filter element. 4.2 Determine the filter cartridge pressure drop △Po
Start the pump (2), adjust the valve (3), and allow the test liquid to pass through the filter cartridge at a flow rate of 5L/min. Record the temperature, flow rate and pressure drop at this time, and use this as the first test point of the filter cartridge pressure drop. Then, increase the flow rate through the filter cartridge by a multiple of 5L/min, and measure the second, third, and up to the eighth test point. Press the upper The above method is repeated twice. For each test point, the arithmetic mean of the two measured values is taken, expressed in MPa. 4.3 Determine the total pressure drop △p of the filter
Install the filter element to be tested into the filter cartridge. According to the measurement steps in Article 4.2, measure the arithmetic mean of the total pressure drop of the filter at each test point, expressed in MPa. 5 Data processing and resultsbzxz.net
5.1 Calculate the filter element pressure drop Ap
The pressure drop at each test point of the filter element is calculated according to the following formula: Ap=A-Ao
5.2 Draw a filter element flow and pressure drop curve with the filter element flow as the horizontal coordinate and the filter element pressure drop as the vertical coordinate. In the double pair Draw the flow rate and pressure drop curve on the digital coordinate paper. 5.3 Results
From the flow rate and pressure drop curve, find out the flow rate of the filter element under the specified pressure drop, expressed in liters per minute. Additional notes:
