Verification procedure for semiconductor point thermometers
This regulation is applicable to the verification of pointer-type semiconductor point thermometers (hereinafter referred to as point thermometers) with a temperature measuring range of ± 1° to + 30°C that are newly manufactured, in use and after treatment. 1. Overview
The point thermometer measures the temperature based on the characteristic that the resistance of thermistor changes with thickness reduction. It uses negative temperature coefficient thermistor as the temperature sensing element and is composed of a thermistor temperature sensor (hereinafter referred to as the temperature sensor) and a display instrument. The display instrument includes an unbalanced electric correction and a pointer electric washing meter. Its principle is shown in Figure 1.

1 Appearance
11 The glass package of the thermometer temperature sensor should be free of cracks: the lead wire and the plug-in must be in good contact: the welding should be firm and there should be no cold welding. The protective tube used should be able to withstand the corresponding use torque. 1.2 The thermometer should not have defects or damage on the outside that may cause reading errors or make the internal parts vulnerable to damage. Its mechanical position adjustment knob should be able to adjust the position normally.
1.3 Adjust the “full adjustment” potentiometer , the pointer should be able to be adjusted to the upper limit scale line without jumping. The switches and cylinder connectors should be correctly positioned and not loose. 1.4 The scale lines, numbers and other markings on the thermometer dial should be clear and accurate. Use monthly force observation, should meet the first! According to the provisions of Article 11, the temperature sensor should be taken according to the regulations of the United States for the new point humidity meter. A certain number of sensors should be taken for retrospective verification according to the regulations of the United States, and at least one sensor should be taken every quarter. The verification method is as follows: 11.1 Set the temperature sensor to the limit of use (allowable error 2), and treat it continuously for 100 hours: finally, restore it in the natural environment for 2 hours. Measure the group value R2 and Ra of the temperature sensor before and after treatment at 25.00 C. 11.2 Measurement method: Use a second-class standard mercury thermometer to control the constant temperature water temperature at about 25 degrees Celsius, and insert the temperature sensor before treatment (if it is a thermistor with a small size and a small size, a test tube with a transformer oil inside can be added to insulate it). Use a special electric box to replace the temperature sensor of the point thermometer. Put the point thermometer in the correct position and adjust the mechanical zero position. Turn on the power supply, adjust the special resistance box to the appropriate resistance range, move the point thermometer pointer to the working limit scale line, then slowly increase the resistance box resistance to move the pointer to the starting scale line, cut off the power supply, and the deviation of the pointer from the mechanical zero position shall comply with the provisions of Article 3. 13 Return error
The return error shall be calibrated on the scale lines near 20%, 50%, and 80% of the measuring range. Turn on the power supply, change the resistance value of the special resistance box: move the point thermometer pointer to each calibration point scale line, and record the corresponding resistance value of the resistance box sample. Continue to reduce the resistance value of the resistance box so that the pointer exceeds the third calibration point scale line. Then increase the resistance box in reverse order to the original value, and read the pointer deviation from the disk respectively. The value shall comply with the provisions of Article 4.
14 Tilt error
Use the special resistance box to adjust the point thermometer pointer to the scale lines near 20% and 80% of the measuring range. Tilt the point thermometer in the normal working position forward, backward, square and right directions by 10” respectively. Read the deviation of the pointer, which shall comply with the provisions of Section 5.
15 Verification of indication
151 Except for the zero point, the other points shall be verified by comparison method. 15.2 The depth of the working medium of the temperature sensor of the point thermometer into the constant temperature bath shall not be less than 60mme15.3. The calibration should be carried out on the main graduation line of the point thermometer. Each measurement range shall not be less than 5 calibration points (including the upper and lower limit graduation lines). According to the requirements of the inspection unit, the designated use points on the graduation line can be calibrated. The calibration is generally carried out point by point from the lower limit temperature point to the upper limit temperature point. The negative overflow area is also carried out from the zero point to the lower limit. 15.4 The reading of the point thermometer at each calibration point must be calibrated to full degree: 15.5 Calibration steps
15.5.1 The point thermometer with a zero point should be calibrated at zero point first. Use clean white water to break the ice into a flower shape, add the ice point pressure, inject tap water that is close to the center to make the ice surface black, and insert it into the temperature sensor. The working end shall be at least 20mm away from the bottom of the ice point and the wall. Read the value after the indication is stable. 15.5.2 During the calibration of other points, the temperature deviation between the temperature of the calibration point and that of the calibration point shall not exceed ±0.27 (based on the standard thermometer). Calibration shall be carried out after the temperature field is stable. The mercury thermometer must be aligned with the horizontal line and read with a reading telescope adjusted to half the water level. The thermometer at the calibration point shall be read with a reading magnifying glass to a scale value of 110. 15.5.3 The reading sequence is:

During the calibration process of each point, the temperature shall be constant or averaged slowly to a value not exceeding 0.1°. 15.5.4 After using the standard mercury thermometer, its zero position should be measured (if used continuously, it can be measured twice a month). If the zero position is found to have changed, it should be corrected according to the method in Article 15.6.2. 15.6 Calculation of verification results 15.6.1 Calculate the average reading value, and take the average of the four readings of the standard thermometer and the thermometer to be checked as their respective indications.
15.6.2 Calculation of the actual temperature of the thermostatic bath when the standard instrument is a second-class standard mercury thermometer: actual temperature = indication of the standard thermometer + correction value of the thermometer. When the position of the calibration point changes, the new correction value should be calculated according to the following formula: new correction value = original correction value of certificate 1 + (position of the upper limit point used in the certificate + position of the upper limit point used in the new measurement).
