This standard applies to the determination of ash in industrial stearic acid produced by pressing or distillation after hydrolysis of animal and vegetable fats. 2 Apparatus

It can be heated to at least 1000℃.
Accurately weigh about 10 samples into the porcelain that has been burned to constant weight, heat it on an electric furnace and ignite it to completely carbonize it.
