FRDM covers international procurement and supply chain and is associated with ISCRM. The FRDM scope can be considered as a subset of the ISCRM scope covering payment cataloging. Goods delivery and its related import and export regulatory declarations are also included.
ISCRM covers the process from the customer confirming the product or service demand until the supplier completes the order and performs financial settlement. In addition to the business processes related to cross-border trade, it also contains the necessary logistics and cross-border regulatory activities that may be required by intermediaries and authorized agencies. 5.1
Business Requirements View
The FRDM process includes business areas associated with representing commercial transport contracts, operating transport and logistics, and regulatory and border clearance processes, as well as the corresponding information used in and passed between each business area. These areas are described based on key management contracts (sales order contracts and transport service contracts), and the relationship between key process areas and documentation requirements are explained. The sales order contract view is shown in Figure 5.
The Transport Services Contract use case is within the scope of multimodal transport. The Establish Business Agreement use case only includes the Booking process, and the Pay use case only includes the Issuance of Invoices. Therefore, the scope of multimodal transport includes the process of transport booking, transport ordering and freight invoicing as well as the actual transportation. 3
