Light Industry Standard of the People's Republic of China Tin Phosphor Bronze Strip for Clocks 1 Subject Content and Scope of Application QB/T 1543—1992 This standard specifies the product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and packaging, marking, transportation, and storage of tin phosphor bronze strips with a strip thickness of 0.07~1.00mm. This standard is applicable to the manufacture of tin phosphor bronze strips for clocks and instrument parts. 2 Reference standards GB/T 228 GB/T 321 GB/T 5233 GB/T 6397 GB/T 8002 Methods for tensile testing of metals Priority numbers and priority number systems Chemical composition and product shape of processed bronze Metal tensile test specimens Chemical analysis methods for bronze Packaging, marking, transportation and storage of processed heavy non-ferrous metal products GB/T 8888 GB/T 10610 3 Product classification Rules and methods for measuring surface roughness with stylus instruments 3.1 Product brand QSn6.5-0.1 3.2 The basic dimensions of the strip shall be as specified in Table 1. Table 1 Note: ① The specifications and dimensions in this table are selected from the GB/T321R\20 series. ② Special specifications can be negotiated by both parties. 3.3 The strip is supplied in hard state (Y). 3.4 The strip is supplied in coils. 65,100,150.200 3.5 Marking example A hard, B-grade, 0.10mm thick, 65mm wide strip made of QSn6.5-0.1. Marked as: Strip QSn6.5-0.1YB0.10×65QB/T15434 Technical requirements 4.1 The chemical composition of the strip shall comply with the provisions of QSn6.5-0.1 in Table 1 of Article 2.1 of GB/T5233. 4.2 The quality grade of the strip thickness is divided into three levels: A, B, and C according to the limit deviation of the thickness dimension. For the dimensions and limit deviations of thickness and width, see Table 2 approved by the Ministry of Light Industry of the People’s Republic of China on July 6, 1992. 256 Implementation on March 1, 1993. Slight burrs that do not exceed the limit deviation are allowed. The straightness of the side of the strip is not more than 2 mm per meter. 4.4 The strip should be straight, and its transverse flatness is not more than 1% of the width. Slight waves that can be eliminated after leveling are allowed. 4.5 The mechanical properties of the strip should comply with the provisions of Table 3. Strips with a thickness of less than 0.15mm are not subject to tensile tests. Table 3 QSn6. 5~~0. 1 Material state Hard (Y) Tensile strength Elongation 4.6 The surface of the strip should be smooth and clean, without cracks, peeling, bubbles, folds and inclusions. Slight local scratches, pits, concave surfaces, embossing and printing defects that do not exceed half of the thickness limit deviation of the strip are allowed. Slight, local (not more than 10%) acid marks, water marks, and oil marks are not used as scrapping basis, but should be removed after pickling. The surface roughness R. value of the strip should not be greater than 1.6μm. 4.7 There should be no delamination or inclusions on the cross section of the strip. 5 Test method 5.1 The standard analysis method of chemical composition shall be carried out in accordance with GB/T8002. 5.2 The tensile test shall be carried out in accordance with GB/T228. 5.3 The thickness of the strip is measured with an outside micrometer with a graduation value of 0.01mm at a distance of not less than 3mm from the edge, the width is measured with a vernier caliper with an indication value of 0.05mm, and the length is measured with a tape measure. 5.4 The flatness and side straightness are measured with a feeler gauge and a ruler respectively. 5.5 The appearance quality and surface roughness are visually inspected with normal vision. If necessary, the surface roughness is tested with a wheel instrument in accordance with the provisions of GB/T10610. The R. value can also be measured with a light section microscope and then converted to the R. value. 257 6 Inspection rules QB/T1543—1992 6.1 The strip should be inspected by the supplier's quality inspection department, and the product quality should be guaranteed to meet the requirements of this standard. The acceptance period of the buyer is within 30 days after arrival. 6.2 The strips are grouped in batches with the same brand, specification and state, and each batch is not more than 200kg. 6.3 Chemical composition inspection: During the smelting process, the supplier shall take one sample from each furnace for inspection. The buyer shall take one sample from each batch of products for inspection. 6.4 Tensile test: Take three rolls from each batch, and take one sample from each roll along the rolling direction. The sample preparation shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of GB/T6397. 6.5 The strip shall be measured for external dimensions and surface quality inspection roll by roll. 6.6 Repeated test: Even if the test result of one sample fails in each test, double samples shall be taken from the batch for re-inspection of the unqualified items. If one sample still fails in the re-inspection, the whole batch shall be scrapped or inspected roll by roll. The qualified ones shall be separately batched for acceptance. Packaging, marking, transportation and storage 7.1 Packaging The strip shall be fastened with a copper ring and placed in a wooden box lined with moisture-proof paper. The moisture-proof paper shall be used to tighten and package the strip. The strip shall not move in the box. 7.2 Marking, transportation and storage shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of Chapters 2, 3 and 4 of GB/T8888. Additional remarks: This standard is proposed by the Quality Standards Department of the Ministry of Light Industry. This standard is under the jurisdiction of the National Clock and Watch Standardization Center. This standard was drafted by Nanjing Clock and Watch Material Factory. The main drafters of this standard are Zheng Hongwu, Su Shiyang, Zhang Guoan and Cao Xinghua. From the date of implementation of this standard, the former Ministry of Light Industry standard QB880-1983 "Tin-phosphor bronze strip for clocks" will be abolished. 258 Tip: This standard content only shows part of the intercepted content of the complete standard.
