Brand, purpose and specification 1.1 Brand and purpose shall comply with the provisions of Table 1. Table 1 UDC669.27'855 :621.791.8 +621.791.94 GB4191—84 Electrodes for inert gas shielded arc welding and plasma welding, cutting, spraying and melting The size of tungsten cerium electrodes shall comply with the provisions of Table 2. Table 2 Diameter d Diameter deviation Note: The preferred diameter value is the R10 series value, and the diameter and length can also be supplied according to the agreement between the supply and demand parties. Issued by the National Bureau of Standards on March 9, 1984 rrkNrkawww.bzxz.net Length deviation Implemented on August 1, 1985 2 Technical requirements GB4191-84 The chemical composition of tungsten electrode should comply with the provisions of Table 3. Table 3 Content of doped oxide The end surface of tungsten electrode should be neat and smooth, without thorns. The straightness of electrode should not exceed 1% of the electrode length, and the content of impurities The surface quality of tungsten electrode should be smooth, clean, without any defects (cracks, cracks, peeling), and without grease or other impurities. The cross section of tungsten cerium electrode should not have internal defects (looseness, impurities). 2.6 The allowable values of current intensity of electrodes of different diameters at different polarities comply with the provisions of Table 4, and the test current is DC. Table 4 Electrode diameter Test method Electrode connected to negative pole (-) 60~150 100~200 225330 350~480 500~675 According to the requirements of 1.2, use a Class I micrometer to check the diameter and a steel ruler to check the length. Electrode connected to positive pole (+) According to the requirements of 2.1, chemical analysis test, according to SJ/Z1319-79 "Spectral analysis method for impurities in tungsten for electric vacuum" 3.2 and GB3311-82 "Determination of impurities in tungsten-cerium alloy-oxidation-reduction capacity method" for analysis. According to the requirements of 2.2, visual inspection is carried out. According to the requirements of 2.3, the straightness is tested by the chord method. 3.4 rrkNrka 3.5 Visual inspection is to be conducted in accordance with the requirements of 2.4 and 2.5. GB4191-84 3.6 Permissible current test is to be conducted in accordance with the requirements of 2.6. 3.6.1 The argon flow rate, the distance between the electrode tip and the base material, and the distance between the electrode rod fixture tip and the nozzle tip in the test rules shall comply with the provisions of Table 5. Use a DC power supply as the test power supply. Use a water-cooled steel plate as the base material for welding. The welding gun shall be cooled by water. The electrode end face to be welded shall be processed into a flat surface. 3.6.1.4 Argon flow rate Argon gas for electric welding shall be used as the shielding gas. On the top of the electrode Distance between the parent metal Distance between the top of the electrode clip and the top of the nozzle More than 15 More than 25 More than 30 At the beginning of the test, the welding gun should keep the electrode vertical, the electrode should exceed the top of the nozzle by 3mm, and the distance between the electrode and the welding parent metal3.6.1.6 According to the provisions of Table 5, during the test, the welding gun and the welding parent metal are fixed and no longer adjusted. 3.6.1.7 The starting current should be operated in parallel with the high-frequency current under argon protection in advance. 3.6.1.8 When the arc is started, the given current is about 3/5 of the test current in Table 4. After the arc is generated, it should be adjusted to the test current value in Table 4. 3.6.1.9 The test time is 20 minutes. 3.6.2 For the positive polarity arc test, the electrode is negative and the welding base metal is positive. For the reverse polarity arc test, the electrode is positive and the base metal is negative. 3.6.3 Inspection rules 4.1 Tungsten electrodes must be inspected by the supplier's quality inspection department to ensure that the product meets the requirements of this standard and fill in the certificate of conformity. 4.2 If there is a special agreement with the user, the test in Article 2.6 can be exempted. 4.3 The buyer can inspect the received products. If the inspection results do not match the brand name on the certificate of conformity, the buyer shall report to the supplier within three months from the date of receipt of the product and the two parties shall negotiate to resolve the problem. 4.4 For the chemical composition, cross section and allowable current test, one sample shall be randomly selected from each submitted batch. If it fails, double sampling shall be conducted for re-inspection. If there is still one result that does not meet the requirements, it shall be deemed as unqualified. 4.5 For other items, 10% shall be sampled and doubled for inspection. If there is still unqualified, full inspection shall be conducted and unqualified products shall be removed and scrapped. 3 TTYkAoNrKAca 5 Marking, packaging, transportation and storage GB4191-84 The packaging of tungsten electrodes should ensure that the electrodes can be reasonably transported and stored, and the surface of the electrodes must not be damaged or contaminated. Each batch of electrodes should be accompanied by a certificate of conformity, which should indicate: material name and brand: production batch number, specification; weight or quantity: production date; imprint of the inspection department, this standard number and manufacturer name. The product should be stored in a dry, ventilated room without acid and alkali atmosphere.
