National Standard of the People's Republic of China
Beryllium bronze wire
Copper-beryllium alloy wires This standard applies to beryllium bronze wires used in the manufacture of precision springs. 1 VarietieswwW.bzxz.Net
1.1 Brand and state
The brand and state of the wire shall comply with the provisions of Table 1. Table 1
Dimensions and allowable deviations
The diameter and allowable deviation of the wire shall comply with the provisions of Table 2. Table 2
0.03~0.04
0. 04 --0.06
0. 06 ~0. 09
0.09~0.25
0.25~0.50
0.50~0.75
-:0.020
Note: Wires of other specifications and allowable deviations can be supplied upon agreement between the two parties. 1.3 Manufacturing method
The wire is manufactured by a drawing method.
1.4 Marking example
Hard wire made of QBe2 and with a diameter of 1.2mm is marked as: soft (M),>0.75 ~1.10
>1.10~1.80
>1.80 ~2.50
>2.50~4.20
4.20~6.00

2 Technical requirements
2.1 Chemical composition
725426
Hard (Y)
Semi-hard (Y),
The chemical composition of the wire shall comply with the provisions of YB147-71 "Chemical Composition of Bronze Processing Products" Leaf 1QBe2. With the agreement of both parties, we can supply beryllium bronze wire with low iron content for anti-magnetic purpose. 2.2 Surface Quality
Issued by National Bureau of Standards on May 28, 1982
Implemented on March 1, 1983
GB 3134-82
The surface of the wire should be smooth and clean, and should not have cracks, peeling, thorns, rough drawing, folding and inclusions. Slight local defects such as indentation, spots and scratches that do not make the wire diameter exceed its allowable deviation are allowed. Slight redness, darkening and oxidation color and slight local water marks and oil marks are not used as the basis for scrapping. 2.3 Wire Fracture
The wire fracture should be dense, without shrinkage, pores, delamination and inclusions. The supplier may not conduct fracture inspection, but must ensure it. 2.4 Mechanical Properties
The tensile test results of the wire should meet the requirements of Table 3. Table 3
Tensile test before hardening and tempering
Tensile strength
kgf/mm2
38~ 58
Elongation
(ls=100mm)

Note: Wires with diameters equal to or less than 0.5mm are not supplied in semi-hard (Y,) state. For wires with diameters equal to or less than 1.0mm, the supplier may not conduct tensile tests, but must ensure.
2.5 Out-of-roundness
The out-of-roundness of the wire should not make the diameter exceed its allowable deviation range. If the purchaser requires, wires with an out-of-roundness that does not exceed half of the allowable diameter deviation can be supplied, but this must be stated in the contract. 2.6 Wire Coil Weight
The wire coil weight shall comply with the provisions of Table 4.
Wire diameter, mm
0.03~0.05
>0.05 ~0.10
>0.10~0.20
>0.20~0.30
>0.30~0.40
2.7 Winding Test

0.60~0.80
>0.80~2.0
>2.0 ~4.0
≥4.0 ~6.0
Roll weight, kg, not less
Wires with a diameter of 1.06.0mm should be subjected to winding tests, winding 10 turns on a cylinder with a diameter twice the diameter of the wire. For wires with a diameter less than 1.0mm, the supplier may not conduct winding tests, but must ensure. 2.8 Resistivity
According to the requirements of the buyer, the supplier can provide the measured data of resistivity. Test method
3.1 The standard analysis method of chemical composition shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of YB600-65 "Chemical Analysis Method of Beryllium Bronze". 680
GB3134--82
3.2 Tensile test shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of GB228-76 "Metal Tensile Test Method". 3.3 Winding test shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of GB2976-82 "Metal Wire Winding and Looseness Test Method": 3.4 Hardening and tempering treatment shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of Table 5. Table 5

315±15
315+15
Table 5 is only for the acceptance inspection of the demander. The supplier may not conduct the mechanical property test of the quenching and tempering, but must guarantee it. 4 Inspection rules
4.1 The wires shall be inspected and accepted by the supplier's technical supervision department, and the product quality shall be guaranteed to meet the requirements of this standard. 4.2 Each batch of wires shall be composed of the same specifications and states, and the batch weight shall not exceed 500kg. 4.3 Each roll (spool) of wire shall be measured for diameter and visually inspected. 4.4 The tensile test shall be carried out by taking two rolls (spools) from each batch of wires, and taking two samples from each roll (spool). 4.5 The winding test shall be carried out by taking a mesh roll (spool) from each batch of wires, and taking a sample from each roll (spool). ftit:
4.6 Even if one or more samples fail the test, a guaranteed number of samples should be taken from the batch to retest the failed items. If one or more samples fail the retest, the entire batch shall be scrapped or tested roll by roll (axis). The qualified ones shall be accepted in a separate batch.
5 Marking, packaging, transportation and storage
Marking, packaging, transportation and storage shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of YB730-70 "General Methods for Packaging, Marking, Delivery and Storage of Heavy Nonferrous Metal Products".
Additional Notes:
This standard was proposed by the Ministry of Metallurgy of the People's Republic of China. This standard was drafted by Shanghai Nonferrous Alloy Wire Factory. From the date of implementation of this standard, the former Ministry of Metallurgical Industry Standard YB565-65 "Beryllium Bronze Wire" shall be invalid. 681
