This standard specifies the required sanitary protection distance between paint factories and residential areas. This standard applies to new paint factories located in plains and hilly areas and the expansion and reconstruction of existing paint factories. Existing paint factories can refer to it for implementation. The sanitary protection distance in complex terrain conditions should be determined by the competent department of the construction unit and the health and environmental protection authorities of the municipality or autonomous region where the construction project is located based on the atmospheric environment quality evaluation report. The standard for sanitary protection distance of industrial enterprises is a comprehensive standard involving construction planning, general layout of industrial construction, environmental sanitation and sanitary engineering. Its purpose is to ensure that the pollutants emitted by key national industrial enterprises after the project is put into production will not affect the health of people in residential areas. This standard aims at the characteristics of various harmful elements, finds out the occurrence, diffusion, dilution, attenuation and degradation characteristics of harmful elements, and then determines the allowable emission intensity of industrial enterprises according to the principle of best practical technology, that is, according to the treatment measures and maintenance management measures that can be achieved at the current economic level of my country, and finally selects the appropriate atmospheric expansion mode and corresponding parameters to determine the required sanitary protection distance. This standard shall be implemented from January 1, 2001. This standard is proposed by the Ministry of Health of the People's Republic of China. The responsible drafting unit of this standard: Institute of Environmental Sanitation and Sanitary Engineering, Chinese Academy of Preventive Medicine. Who drafted this standard: Hu Gengxin, Shao Qiang, Wu Yongwei. This standard is interpreted by the Environmental Health Monitoring Institute of the Chinese Academy of Preventive Medicine, entrusted by the Ministry of Health. 232 1 Scope National Standard of the People's Republic of China Health protection zone standard for paint plant Health protection zone standard for paint plant This standard specifies the required health protection distance between paint plants and residential areas. GB 18070-2000 This standard is applicable to new paint plants located in plains and hilly areas and the expansion and reconstruction projects of existing paint plants. Existing paint plants can refer to it for implementation. The health protection distance in areas with complex terrain conditions should be determined jointly by the main department of the construction unit and the main departments of health and environmental protection of the province, municipality or autonomous region where the construction site is located based on the atmospheric environment quality evaluation report. 2 Definitions This standard adopts the following definitions. 2.1 Health protection zone The minimum distance from the boundary of the department (workshop or section) that produces harmful factors to the boundary of the residential area. 3 Standard Contents 3.1 The sanitary protection distance of paint factories shall be determined according to the average wind speed in the past five years in the area where they are located as shown in Table 1. Table 1 Speed, m/s 3.2 This standard also stipulates that the location of paint factories and residential areas should take into account the influence of factors such as wind frequency and terrain to minimize the pollution to the human environment of the residential area Approved by the State Administration of Quality and Technical Supervision on April 10, 2000 and implemented on January 1, 2001 Tip: This standard content only shows part of the intercepted content of the complete standard.
