This standard is compiled based on the design basis plan issued by the Construction Coordination Office of the Ministry of Chemical Industry. The mesh demister is a gas-liquid separation device. The gas passes through the mesh pad of the demister to remove the mist. This standard (HG/T21618-1998) is based on the original chemical industry standards HG5-1404-81, HG5-1405-81 and HG5-1406-81, and is revised in combination with the actual use experience of wire mesh defoamers and the advanced technology introduced in the device. The new revised standard has the following changes compared with the original standard: 1. The original three standards are merged into one standard for easy selection. 2. The diameter range and specifications of the defoamer are adjusted, and the nominal diameter specifications are appropriately encrypted. 3.
