United Nations Recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods Model Regulations (16th revised edition) 3 Terms and definitions
Terms and definitions defined in GB/T41.22.1, GB6944.GB12268 and the United Nations Recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods Model Regulations (18th revised edition) (hereinafter referred to as the "Model Regulations") shall apply to this document. 4- General provisions
4.1 Dangerous goods transported in excepted quantities are denoted by E1 to E5. Their meanings are given in Table 1 and listed in the "Excepted Quantities" column in Section 6. Meaning of the excepted quantity codes E1 to E5 in Table 1
Maximum empty capacity of each inner packaging
(mL for solids, mL for liquids and gases) 35
Maximum net load of each outer packaging
(mL for solids, mL for liquids and gases. In the case of mixed loading, the sum of mL and mL) 10co
4.2 For gases In other words, the capacity indicated on the inner packaging in Table 1 refers to the water capacity of the inner packaging. The capacity indicated on the outer packaging refers to the sum of the water capacities of all the containers in the outer packaging. 4.3 When the dangerous goods in excepted quantities are packed together with different codes, the total quantity of each outer packaging shall be limited to the quantity specified in the most stringent code of GB28644.1-2012.
4.4 The maximum number of dangerous goods packages transported in excepted quantities that can be loaded on any freight car, railway truck or multimodal freight container shall not exceed "C00".
5 Structure of the table of excepted quantities of dangerous goods
5.1 Format
The table of excepted quantities of dangerous goods consists of 7 columns, namely, column 1 "UN number", column 2 "Chinese name and description", column 3 "English name and description", column 4 "Class or division", column 5 "Subsidiary risk", column 6 "Packing group" and column 7 "Excepted quantity". 5.2 Column 1 "UN Number"
This column contains the serial numbers assigned to dangerous goods under the United Nations classification system. 5.3 Column 2 "Chinese Name and Description"
The wooden column contains the proper Chinese shipping name of the dangerous goods, expressed in boldface (plus the numbers that form part of the name, the letters "zhong", "shu", "jian", "zheng", "lian", "dui", etc.): An additional description may also be added, expressed in boldface, where the "※\ symbol represents: a) In the case of solid or liquid mixtures, solutions and solids moistened with liquids, it is calculated based on the total mass of the mixture, solution or moistened solid. Mass fraction, unit is 10; if it is a condensed gas mixture, when loaded by pressure, it is expressed as the volume fraction of the total volume of the gas mixture, unit is b)
10°2, or when loaded by mass, it is expressed as the mass fraction of the total mass of the mixture, unit is 10-2; c) if it is a liquefied gas mixture and a gas dissolved under pressure, it is expressed as the mass fraction of the total mass of the mixture, unit is 10-2. 5.4 Column 3 "English name and description"
This column includes the English formal shipping name of the dangerous goods, expressed in capital letters: additional instructions are expressed in lowercase letters. 5.5 Column 4 "Class or Division"
This column is the main hazard of the dangerous goods, determined in accordance with GB6944. 5.6 Column 5\Subsidiary risk"
This column is the category or item of other risks other than the primary risk of dangerous goods, determined in accordance with GB6944. 5.7 Column 6\Packing category"
This column is the packing category number assigned to dangerous goods according to the United Nations packing category, determined in accordance with GB6944. 5.8 Column 7. "Excepted Quantities"
The wooden column lists the excepted numerical codes for dangerous goods in excepted quantities permitted for transport under this standard and specifies the maximum quantity of dangerous goods that can be transported in each inner and outer packaging. 6 Table of excepted quantities of dangerous goods
6.1 See Table 2 for the table of excepted quantities of dangerous goods. 6.2 Dangerous goods not applicable for transport in excepted quantities are not listed in Table 2. 2
