This standard is a revision of JB/T7991.1-1995 "Codes for Electroplated Diamond Internal Cutting Saw Blades and Assorted Files". This standard has made corresponding supplements to the content of JB/T7991.1--1995, making the standard more reasonable, comprehensive and complete. The name of this standard is changed to "Codes and Markings for Electroplated Superhard Abrasive Products". This standard replaces JB/T7991.1--1995 from the date of implementation. This standard is proposed and managed by the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Abrasives and Grinding Tools. The drafting unit of this standard: Suzhou Grinding Wheel Factory. The participating drafting units of this standard: Sixth Grinding Wheel Factory. The main drafters of this standard: Chen Baoheng, Mo Yunshui, Xue Mingzhang. This standard was first issued in June 1987 as GB8065--86, and the standard number was adjusted to JB/T7991.1-1995 in April 1996. This is the first revision.
