According to the Ministry of Construction's "Notice on Issuing the National Standard for Construction Quality of Masonry Engineering from 2000 to 2001" In accordance with the requirements of the Notice on the Formulation and Revision of Standards for Construction Quality Acceptance of Masonry Engineering (Construction Standard [2001] No. 87), the Shaanxi Provincial Development and Planning Commission, together with relevant departments, revised the "Standards for Acceptance of Construction Quality of Masonry Engineering". Our department organized relevant departments to review the standard and now approved it as a national standard, numbered GB50203-2002, which will be implemented on April 1, 2002. Among them, 4.0.1, 4.0.8, 5.2.1, 5.2.3, 6.1.2, 6.1.7, 6.1.9, 6.2. 1. 6.2.3, 7.1.9, 7.2.1, 8.2.1, 8.2.2, 10.0.4 are mandatory provisions and must be strictly enforced. The original "Code for Construction and Acceptance of Masonry Engineering" GB50203-98 is abolished at the same time.
This code is managed by the Ministry of Construction and is responsible for the interpretation of mandatory provisions. The Shaanxi Provincial Building Science Research and Design Institute is responsible for the interpretation of specific technical content. The Standard and Quota Research Institute of the Ministry of Construction organizes China Construction Industry Press to publish and distribute it.

National Standard for Construction Engineering "Code for Acceptance of Construction Quality of Masonry Engineering" GB50203-2002 is compiled by Shaanxi Provincial Development and Planning Commission and Shaanxi Provincial Architectural Science Research and Design Institute together with relevant units in accordance with the requirements of the Ministry of Construction's Document [2001187] "Notice on Issuing the "2000-2001 National Standard Formulation and Revision Plan for Engineering Construction". During the compilation process of this code, the compilation team conducted extensive and in-depth investigations and studies, summarized the practical experience of construction quality acceptance of construction projects in my country, adhered to the guiding ideology of "separation of inspection and evaluation, strengthening acceptance, improving means, and process control", and took the "Uniform Standard for Acceptance of Construction Quality of Construction Engineering" GB50300-2001 as the criterion, and widely solicited the opinions of relevant units. The Ministry reviewed and finalized it in September 2001. The compilation of this specification is to merge the relevant masonry engineering construction and acceptance specifications and engineering quality inspection and evaluation standards, absorb and supplement relevant content, delete relevant construction technology and evaluation content, and form a new masonry engineering construction quality acceptance specification to unify the acceptance method, quality standard and procedure of masonry engineering construction quality. This specification is divided into 11 chapters. Brick masonry engineering, small concrete hollow block engineering, stone masonry engineering, reinforced masonry engineering, infill wall masonry engineering and other sub-projects are separate chapters. In the first section of the 5th chapter "General Provisions", the main requirements are for the quality control of raw materials and construction processes. In the second section "Main Control Items" and the third section "General Items", the quality requirements, sampling quantity and inspection methods of the acceptance items are stipulated. The provisions marked in bold in this specification are mandatory provisions. In order to improve the quality of the specification, each unit should pay attention to accumulating information and summarizing experience in the process of implementing this specification. 1 General provisions
1.0.1 This specification is formulated to strengthen the quality management of construction projects, unify the acceptance of masonry construction quality and ensure project quality.
1.0.2 This specification applies to the construction quality control and acceptance of masonry such as bricks, stones, small concrete hollow blocks, autoclaved aerated concrete blocks, etc. in construction projects. 1.0.3 This specification is used in conjunction with the national standard "Uniform Standard for Construction Quality Acceptance of Building Engineering" GB50300-2001.
1.0.4 The requirements for construction quality acceptance in the engineering technical documents and contract documents used in masonry construction shall not be lower than those specified in this specification.
1.0.5 In addition to implementing this specification, the acceptance of masonry construction quality shall also comply with the provisions of relevant national standards in force.

2.0.6 Core column
A small reinforced concrete column inside the masonry formed by inserting vertical steel bars into the internal cavity of the block and pouring concrete.
2.0.7 Inspection at original space A test that uses standard inspection methods to select samples from the on-site masonry for non-destructive or micro-destructive testing to determine the strength of the masonry mortar and masonry entity. Page 7
3 Basic regulations
The materials used in masonry projects should have product certificates and product performance test reports. Block materials, cement, steel bars, admixtures, etc. should also have on-site re-inspection reports of the main properties of the materials. It is strictly forbidden to use materials that have been explicitly eliminated by the state.
