Compared with GB/T 9851.4-1990, this part is mainly modified as follows: a large number of terms for lead printing processes that have been explicitly eliminated by the state are deleted, and appropriate supplements are made to terms related to flexographic printing. A total of 31 terms have been cancelled, 9 terms have been modified, and 20 terms have been added. - The structure of the standard has been modified in accordance with GB/1.1-2000. This part was proposed by the General Administration of Press and Publication.

Letterpress printing
A method of direct printing with lead type or lead plate. 2.3
Indirect letterset printing A printing method that uses a letterpress to transfer ink to the substrate through an intermediate transfer body. 2. 4

Relief printing plate made by using photopolymerized resin as plate material, through UV exposure, washing with water or solvent. There are two processes for plate production: liquid plate and solid plate. The hardness of the plate is generally above Shore A 95°, and it is usually used on a relief printing press with a long ink path structure.
Flexographic formeFlexographic forme is made of elastic materials such as synthetic rubber-type photopolymerized resin, which are exposed to UV and washed with water or solvent to make a flexible relief plate. The hardness range of the plate material is Gunner A30″～65°, and it is usually used on a letterpress printing machine with a short testicle structure (anilox roller). 5.5
