In the calculation process of checksum for price or measurement value, a specific operation rule, i.e. weighting factor, is assigned to each code position in the price or measurement value code, including 2-, 3-, 5-+, 5-, etc. The result of mathematical operation on the numerical value in the price or measurement value code according to the corresponding weighting factor is called weighted product.
