The types and basic parameters of partially enclosed lifeboats shall be in accordance with the provisions of (GB10839: 2 Reference standards GB8212.4 Terminology of ship equipment Life-saving equipment GB 10839 Partially enclosed lifeboat types and basic parameters GR11573 Technical requirements for fully enclosed lifeboats 3 Terms According to GB 8242.4 and CB 11573 Chapter 1 Regulations 4 Technical Requirements 4.1 Partially enclosed lifeboats shall be made of a rigid hull made of flame-retardant glass steel and a permanently attached rigid roof of not less than 20 cm in length at the bow and stern. 4.2 The strength, stability, performance, crew quota, passage, buoyancy, propulsion equipment, accessories and equipment of partially enclosed lifeboats shall comply with 4.2, 4.3.2.1.4.1.5, 1.6.4.7, 4.8 + 4.9 of H11573 respectively. 4.3 Partially enclosed lifeboats shall be equipped with a permanently attached foldable roof. The foldable roof together with the rigid roof forms a windproof and rainproof body, completely covering the lifeboat occupants and protecting them from wind and rain. If the boat is tilted and the passengers cannot escape, 4.4 Each partially closed lifesaving chamber should be equipped with effective water trapping facilities or automatic water-removing facilities. 4.5 The height from the upper surface of the floor to the top of the boat in at least 50% of the floor area is not less than 1.7m. 4.6 The allowable deviation of the station of partially closed lifeboats should comply with the provisions of 4.1.3 of GB11573. 5 Test methods 5.1 Strength test methods shall comply with the provisions of 5.1 of GB11573, 5.2 Material test methods shall comply with the provisions of 5.2 of GB11573. 5.3 Stability test and dry limb determination methods shall comply with the provisions of 5.3 of GB11573. 5.4 Seat test methods shall comply with GB 5.1 of GB 11573, 5.5 Interpretation of the mechanism test method shall be in accordance with 5.5 of GB 11573. 5.6 Operation test method shall be in accordance with 5.6 of GB11573. 5.7 Water test method shall be in accordance with 3.7 of GB 11573. 5.8 Tightening test method: The boat is fully occupied and two crew members shall hold the folding seam upright to verify that the operation is not obstructed and can be completed within 2 seconds.
