Type Dimensions
This standard specifies the type dimensions of plastic extrusion equipment for wires and cables. JB/T5819-91
This standard applies to the design, manufacture, acceptance, identification and quality assessment of extrusion equipment for plastic insulation, plastic sheath or other cable plastic structural components of wires and cables.

3 Terminology
3.1 The terms of this standard adopt the interpretation of GB2900 and related standards. 3.2 Extruder for conventional plastics Extruder for conventional plastics The processing temperature of the extruded plastic is 300C or below. 3.3 Extruder for high temperature plastics Extruder for high temperature plastics The processing temperature of the extruded plastic is above 300C. 3.4 Simultaneous extrusion Two (or more) screws extrude two (or more) plastics into a die head at the same time to form them, and coat them on the same layer of insulation or the same component, such as extruding two-color insulation or extruding the insulation layer and jacket at one time (see Figure 1). 5
