Some standard content:

National Standard of the People's Republic of China
Dense sintered metal materials and hard alloys
Density determination method
Impermeable sintered metal materials and hardmetalsdetermination of density
This standard applies to the determination of density of dense sintered metal materials and hard alloys. Note: The density determination of loose sintered materials shall comply with relevant regulations. This standard is equivalent to ISO3369-1975 "Dense sintered metal materials and hard alloys-Principle
The sample is first weighed in air and then weighed in liquid, and the density is calculated. 2 Preparation and requirements of samples
2.1 Sampling shall be carried out in accordance with relevant regulations.
UDC 621.762.1
GB3850—83
IS03369-1975
-Determination of density",
2.2 The volume of the sample shall not be less than 0.5cm". If the volume of the sample is less than 0.5cm\, several samples can be put together, but the volume of each sample shall not be less than 0.05cm3. 2.3 Foreign matter adhering to the surface of the sample, such as dust, oil, etc., should be processed in advance. Instruments and Materials
3.1 Balance, for samples within 10g, the sensitivity is 0.1mg; for samples above 10g, the sensitivity is 0.001% of the weighing. The code must be calibrated, and its density should not be less than 7g/cm.
3.2 The measuring device can be as shown in Figure a or Figure b.
Figure a Weighing in air
Published by the National Bureau of Standards on September 14, 1983
Implementation on September 1, 1984
GB 3850--83
Figure b Weighing in water
Under normal circumstances, the diameter of the hanging wire cannot be greater than 0.25mm. Only when the sample is heavy, a thicker hanging wire is used. 3.3 The size of the container should be selected appropriately so that when a sample of 10cm3 is placed in the liquid, the liquid level does not rise much more than 2.5mm. 3.4 Use distilled water or deionized water, preferably degassed water, and add 1 or 2 drops of wetting agent. The density p of distilled water in the liquid is shown in the table below.
degrees, ℃
degrees, grcm3
degrees, ℃
degrees, g.em
Note: (Other liquids can also be used. It is required to know the density of the liquid in the air at the test temperature and be accurate to the decimal place. ② The density of water in air (measured with a brass base weight) is 0.00106%/cm2 less than the true density measured in a vacuum. 4 Test steps
4.1 Place the sample in the upper hanging basket, and the lower hanging basket is completely immersed in the liquid (see Figure a left), or place the sample in a tray, and the lower seat The wire is partially immersed in the liquid: (see Figure a). Weigh after all bubbles are removed (mi). 4.2 Place the sample in the hanging basket below (see Figure b left) or tie it with a metal wire (see Figure b right), and then move it into a container filled with liquid, with only the hanging wire exposed to the surface of the liquid. Weigh after all bubbles are removed. 4.3 For samples under 10g, read to 0.1mg; for samples over 10g, read to 0.001% of the weight. 4.4 When weighing, the temperature of the sample, liquid and surrounding air should be the same, and the temperature of the liquid should be measured. If steamed stuffing water is used, its density value is listed in 3.4 Table.
5 Result expression
GB3850--83
The density of the sample (g/cm3) is calculated by the following formula: 0=
Formula: α,—density of liquid in air, g/cm3; m,—mass of sample weighed in air, g; m2
The mass of liquid displaced by the sample, (obtained by subtracting the apparent mass of the sample in liquid from the mass of the sample in air). The reported results are rounded to 0.01g/cm\.
Test report
The test report should include the following contents:
This standard number;
Details required to identify the sample; bzxz.net
Measured results;
All operating conditions not specified in this standard or optional; Any conditions that have affected the results. e.
Additional notes:
This standard was proposed by the Ministry of Metallurgical Industry of the People's Republic of China. This standard was drafted by Zhuzhou Cemented Carbide Co., Ltd. The main drafters of this standard are Shang Xueqin and Shi Hongzhen. From the implementation of this standard, the original Ministry of Metallurgical Industry Standard YB570-65 "Determination of Specific Gravity of Cemented Carbide" will be invalid.
