1 Scope

This standard specifies the product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, labeling and instruction manual, packaging, transportation and storage, completeness of supply and quality assurance of electrical speed signal devices. This standard applies to electrical speed signal devices (hereinafter referred to as devices). Such devices are used to measure the speed changes of heavy-duty hydro-generator sets and send corresponding signals.
This standard is only applicable to new devices.

5.13 Thermal performance requirements
5.13.1 Maximum allowable temperature
When the ambient temperature is the highest nominal ambient temperature of the device, the device should be able to work for a long time under the input excitation of 1.1 times the rated value, without causing thermal damage to the insulation or other electrical components, and the coil temperature should not exceed 105℃ (or as specified by the enterprise product standards). For heating elements that work with electricity for a long time, such as resistors, voltage regulators, etc., the maximum temperature should not exceed 150℃, and no harmful thermal effects should be caused to the adjacent components.
5.13.2 Short-term heat resistance limit of excitation The device should be able to withstand 1.4 times the rated voltage (or as specified by the enterprise product standards) for 10s without damage to the insulation and other components. After that, when the product returns to normal conditions, its performance should still meet the requirements of 5.5 to 5.9. 3

5.14 Insulation performance
Unless otherwise specified, the insulation performance of the device shall be tested under dry and non-self-heating conditions. 5.14.1 Insulation resistance
The insulation resistance value between each circuit and the exposed conductive part of the device, as well as between each independent circuit, shall be measured by a test instrument with an open circuit voltage of 500V, which shall not be less than 100M2. 5.14.2 Dielectric strength
The device shall be able to withstand an AC test voltage of 50Hz and a test duration of 1min between each circuit and the exposed conductive part, as well as between each independent circuit, without insulation breakdown or flashover. The test voltage value shall meet the requirements of GB/T14598.3-1993. When rechecking the dielectric strength, the test voltage value shall be 75% of the specified value. During the factory test, the test duration is allowed to be shortened to 1s, but the test voltage value shall be increased by 10% at this time. 5.14.3 Impulse voltage
The circuits and exposed conductive parts of the device, as well as the independent circuits, should be able to withstand the short-term impulse voltage test of the standard lightning wave. The test voltage value that each part should withstand should be in accordance with 8.2 and Appendix D of GB/T14598.3-1993 according to the different places of use of the product.
After the impulse voltage test, the device should meet the requirements of 5.6 to 5.9. During the test, flashover that does not damage the insulation is allowed. If flashover occurs, the insulation resistance and dielectric strength should be rechecked. At this time, the dielectric strength test voltage value is 75% of the specified value.
5.15 Moisture and heat resistance
The device is subjected to an alternating damp heat test under the conditions of a maximum temperature of 40°C and a test cycle of two cycles (48h). Within 2h before the end of the test, the insulation resistance value of the parts specified in 5.14.1 is measured with a test instrument with an open circuit voltage of 500V, which should not be less than 1.5MQ. Moreover, the product should be able to withstand a dielectric strength test of 75% of the voltage value specified in 5.14.2. 5.16 Contact performance
The contacts of the device output circuit should be able to disconnect a DC inductive load circuit with a voltage not greater than 250V, a current not greater than 0.2 (0.5, 2, 5) A, and a time constant of (5 ± 0.75) ms or (40 ± 6) ms, and an AC circuit with a voltage not greater than 250V and a current not greater than 0.5 (1, 5, 10) A (cosΦ = 0.4 ± 0.1). The contact disconnection capacity is specified by the enterprise product standard. 5.17 Vibration Withstand Capacity

5.18 Impact Withstand Capability

5.19 Impact Withstand Capacity

5.20 Pulse Group Interference Withstand Capacity

Static devices should be able to withstand the test voltage of severity level IIIII specified in 5.18.1.4 of JB/T9568-2000. The interruption time and qualified criterion of DC auxiliary excitation quantity shall be specified by the enterprise product standard in accordance with 5.18.1.10 of JB/9568-2000. 5.25 Mechanical life
The contact circuit of the device shall be able to operate reliably for no less than 10 times without load or as specified by the enterprise product standard. The mechanical life test rate and qualified criterion shall be specified by the enterprise product standard. For devices with only electromagnetic relays in the output circuit, if the output relay has been tested and proved to meet the mechanical life requirements of the product, the device may not be subject to mechanical life test. 5.26 Structural and appearance requirements
