This standard applies to the production and release of precipitation graphic products. For any undated referenced document, its latest version (including all amendments) shall apply to this document GB/T28592-2012 Precipitation levels Terms and definitions The following terms and definitions apply to this document Precipitation precipitation The depth of liquid (rainfall) or solid (snowfall) (after melting) precipitation falling from the sky to the ground in a certain period of time, without evaporation, infiltration, or loss and accumulating on the horizontal surface. The names of cities, counties, towns, and villages should be marked on the map of a certain area as needed. 4.4 Graphic Annotation Information 4.4.1 Text Text annotation generally uses simplified Chinese characters, and the font size can be set according to actual needs. 4.4.2 Title Graphic title should be concise and to the point, and Chinese label (precipitation distribution in a certain area and a certain period of time), generally placed in the upper middle position of the figure. 4.4.3 Period Mark the period of precipitation. The period is marked according to the rule of "start time-end time\, using the format of \yyyy year mm month dd day hh hour", which can be shortened appropriately and generally written together with the title. 4.4.4 Precipitation unit Generally located at the end of the title. The labeling format is "(unit: mm)", and can also be written together with the legend. 4.4.5 Legend Choose whether to mark the legend according to the identification method of the precipitation area. The color blocks in the legend can be distributed horizontally, and the corresponding text description is located below the color blocks; or they can be distributed vertically, and the corresponding text information is located on the right side of the color blocks. The legend is located in the lower left corner of the figure. 4.4.6 Publishing unit Mark the full name of the publishing unit in the lower right corner of the figure, with the font size one or two sizes smaller than the title font size. 4.4.7 Publishing time Use the format of "yyyy year mm month dd day hh hour" to mark the publishing time. It can be shortened appropriately or omitted. It is usually written together with the publishing unit. 5 Precipitation classification and color scale regulations 5.1 Overview For the precipitation distribution in a certain area and a certain period of time, it is usually adopted to fill in the values according to the stations or grid points on the base map, draw contour lines at a certain interval, or select the relevant color domain as the legend and make a color spot map to describe the properties of the graphic product. 5.2 Rainfall classification and color scale regulations 5.2.1 General situation According to the 24-hour rainfall threshold in Table 1 of GB/T28592-2012 as the classification standard, the rainfall is divided into 11 levels at intervals of 0.1mm10mm.25mm.50mm, 100mm.250mm.400mm.600mm.800mm.1000mm. Then fill in the corresponding color scale and indicate the maximum value of the precipitation center. The color scale is shown in Table 1. The standard format of the rainfall color spot map is shown in Figure A.1. 5.2.2 Special situation When making regional rainfall graphic products in dry and dry areas, the rainfall grades can be divided according to local standards and the corresponding rainfall grade color scales can be used.
