This standard is not equivalent to IS0IS15750-3.200C Drums Part 3: Interconnected Landlocked Closure System, and amends 0B/T1.251—1991 Packing containers Closures for steel drums, and retains the steel lifting and plugging closure part. The main technical differences between this standard and GB/T13251-1991 are as follows:
1. Added (i4 series thread;
2. Cancelled TM series end thread,
This standard specifies various requirements, as well as closure type, structural dimensions, test methods, inspection rules and other requirements. Since steel buckets are widely used to contain chemical hazardous goods and imported products, these requirements are used to ensure the quality of steel buckets and ensure transportation safety. Appendix A of this standard is a reminder.
This standard replaces GB/T13251-1991 from the date of implementation. This standard is proposed by China National Packaging Corporation.
