The main technical differences between this standard and GB/T13251-1991 are as follows:

This standard specifies various requirements, as well as closure type, structural dimensions, test methods, inspection rules and other requirements. Since steel buckets are widely used to contain chemical hazardous goods and imported products, these requirements are used to ensure the quality of steel buckets and ensure transportation safety.
