Coal Industry Standard of the People's Republic of China Drilling Tool Extension Sleeves for Hydraulic Rock Drills in Coal Mines 1 Subject Content and Scope of Application MT/T 516.4—1995 This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of extension sleeves for hydraulic rock drills in coal mines. Its structure and size are as specified in the drawing. The corrugated thread of the extension sleeve is severely worn. 5 Test method 5.1 The appearance quality of the rod sleeve is checked by visual inspection. 5.2 The geometric dimensions of the rod sleeve are measured by measuring tools, templates, and special screw gauges. Rounding or chamfering 5.3 The hardness of the rod sleeve is measured at three points in the middle of the rod sleeve along the circumferential direction according to the requirements of GB230 "Metal Rockwell Hardness Test Method". 5.4 The life test is carried out in the following way 5.4.1 The test is carried out by continuous drilling on the coal mine rock tunnel excavation working face with a rock uniaxial compressive strength of 70 to 120 MPa or on a test bench with similar rock conditions. 5.4.2 The hydraulic rock drill used should be a hydraulic rock drill for coal mines that meets the requirements of MT198. 5.4.3 During the life test of the rod sleeve, the hydraulic rock drill should be operated under rated working conditions. 6 Inspection rules 6.1 The inspection of extension sleeves is divided into factory inspection and type inspection. The factory inspection is carried out by the quality inspection department of the manufacturer, and the type inspection is carried out by the product quality inspection agency. 6.2 Each batch of extension sleeves shall be inspected before delivery and accompanied by a product quality inspection certificate. 6.3 Product type inspection shall be carried out in any of the following cases: a. Trial products of new products or old products transferred to the factory for production; b. For formally produced products, when there is a significant change in product performance; for products in normal production, sampling is conducted once a year; MT/T 516.4—1995 When the product is discontinued for more than three years for some reason and then resumed production; d. When the product quality supervision department makes a request; when the factory inspection results are significantly different from the results of the previous type test. f. 6.4 The factory inspection and type inspection items of products are shown in the table. During factory inspection, hardness inspection shall be sampled at 1% of the batch, but each batch shall not be less than 3 pieces. When there are unqualified products, double the sampling, and if there are unqualified products again, double the sampling again. If there are still unqualified products after the second double sampling, the batch of products is judged to be unqualified. Other items shall be inspected piece by piece. 7 Marking, packaging, transportation, storage 7.1 The outer surface of the extension sleeve shall be marked with the product trademark and specification model. 7.2 The packaging of the extension sleeve shall be firm and reliable, and the total weight of each box shall not exceed 30kg. 7.3 The packing box of the connecting rod sleeve shall be marked with: Manufacturing unit; Product name, Product specification and model; Quantity; Factory date. 7.4 Each batch of connecting rod sleeves must be accompanied by a product quality certificate. Note: a. Manufacturing unit, Product specification and model, Factory inspection date, Type inspection unit and inspection report number. 7.5 During transportation, the connecting rod sleeves shall be stacked carefully and the packaging shall not be damaged. During storage, they shall be moisture-proof and the packaging shall not be disassembled at will.
