Some standard content:

This standard is a revision of GB/T5154-1985 "Magnesium Alloy Plate". Compared with GB/T5154-1985, this standard has the following changes: - The grade adopts the provisions of GB/T5153 "Grades and Chemical Compositions of Deformed Magnesium and Magnesium Alloys". The corresponding content of magnesium alloy sheets and strips is supplemented. GB/T 5154-2003
Supply status adopts the corresponding provisions of ISO3116:2001 "Magnesium and Magnesium Alloy Deformed Magnesium Alloys" (see Appendix A). The allowable deviation of some lengths and widths of the plate is stricter than the original standard. The requirements for the unevenness of the plate are stricter than the original standard, and the provisions for the unevenness value of magnesium alloy sheets are supplemented. The provisions for the measurement method of the plate's external dimensions are added. - The room temperature tensile test of the plate adopts the provisions of GB/T228 "Room Temperature Tensile Test Method for Metallic Materials", and the compression test of the plate adopts the provisions of GB/T7314 "Metal Compression Test Method". The room temperature tensile test sampling of the plate adopts the provisions of GB/T16865-1997 "Specimens for tensile test of deformed aluminum, magnesium and alloy processed products".
Added the provisions for sampling of chemical composition arbitration analysis. 1. Modified the provisions for judging the unqualified results of chemical composition and mechanical performance indicators, and added the provisions for judging the unqualified results of dimensional deviation and surface quality.
1. Refined the requirements for transported objects, transportation process and handling, and added the provisions for storage warehouse conditions. This standard will replace GB/T5154-1985 from the date of implementation. Appendix A of this standard is a normative appendix, and Appendix B is an informative appendix. This standard is proposed by the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association. This standard is under the jurisdiction of the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Nonferrous Metals. This standard is drafted by Luoyang Copper Processing Group Co., Ltd. The main drafters of this standard are: Li Xiangyu, Ding Baochang, Fu Zaishi, Li Bin, Zhang Daquan, Chang Fuxun. This standard is interpreted by the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Nonferrous Metals. The previous versions of the standards replaced by this standard are: YB/T628-1973;
GB/T5154--1985.

5.2.1 The thickness shall be measured with a micrometer (or measuring tool of the same accuracy) with an accuracy of 0.01mm. The plate shall be measured within the range of not less than 115mm from the long side to the plate corner and not less than 25mm from the edge of the plate; the thickness of the strip shall be measured at the middle of the end. 5.2.2 The length and width shall be measured with a steel tape measure with an accuracy of 1mm or a measuring tool of corresponding accuracy. 5.2.3 When measuring the unevenness of the plate, the plate shall be placed freely on the platform and the gap between the plate and the platform shall be measured. When there are several waves on a plate, the largest one shall be measured. The edge waves can be measured with a feeler gauge. Note: Rounding of the dimensional measurement value is not allowed.
5.3 Room temperature mechanical properties test method
5.3.1 The room temperature tensile test of the plate shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of GB/T228. 5.3.2 The compression test of the plate shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of GB/T7314. 5.4 Surface quality inspection method
The surface quality of plates and strips is generally inspected by visual inspection. Surface defects that require size definition can be measured using measuring tools of corresponding accuracy.
6 Inspection rules
6.1 Inspection and acceptance
6.1.1 Plates and strips shall be inspected by the supplier's technical supervision department to ensure that the product quality meets the requirements of this standard and fill in the quality certificate. 6.1.2 The buyer shall re-inspect the received products in accordance with the provisions of this standard. If the re-inspection results are inconsistent with the provisions of this standard and the order contract, they shall be submitted to the supplier in writing and resolved by negotiation between the supplier and the buyer. Objections to surface quality and dimensional deviation should be raised within 1 month from the date of receipt of the product, and objections to other requirements should be raised within 3 months from the date of receipt of the product. If arbitration is required, arbitration sampling should be carried out jointly by the supplier and the buyer.
6.2 Batches
Plates and strips should be submitted for acceptance in batches. Each batch should consist of the same brand, state and specification, and the batch weight is not limited. The weight can be measured by the inspection method or the theoretical calculation method (see Appendix B). 6.3 Inspection items
Each batch of products should be inspected for chemical composition, dimensional deviation, mechanical properties and surface quality before leaving the factory. 6.4 Sampling
Product sampling should comply with the provisions of Table 6.
