TTTKONYKAA Surface treatment of steel before coating Technical requirements for non-metallic abrasives for blast cleaning Part 1: Special sands made of steel slag GB/T 17850.112011 Warning: Equipment, materials and abrasives used for surface treatment may be dangerous if not used with care. Many countries have regulations for materials and materials that are considered dangerous during use or after use (abdominal treatment), such as free silica, carcinogens or substances. Therefore, these regulations should be followed. It is important to ensure that appropriate guidance is given and all required precautions are implemented. 1 Scope This part of GB/T17850 specifies the particle size range, apparent density, Mohs hardness, water content, conductivity of ice extract, water-soluble chloride content and particle adsorbent content of special sands made of steel slag for blast cleaning. The requirements specified in this section apply only to unused abrasives and not to used abrasives. For the test methods of non-metallic abrasives for blast cleaning, see GB/T 17849. 2 Normative references The following documents are indispensable for the application of this document. For dated references, only the dated version applies to this document. For undated references, the latest version (including all amendments) applies to this document. GB/T 17849 Surface treatment of steel before coating Test methods for non-metallic abrasives for blast cleaning (ISO 11127-1 to ISO 11127-7) 3 Terms and definitions The following terms and definitions are used in this document. Special type grit of steel slag A synthetic mineral non-metallic abrasive for blast cleaning, made from slag obtained from smelting steel, after primary granulation, drying, sieving, with or without mechanical crushing. The main components are calcium silicate, calcium ferrite and RO phase (monovalent metal oxide solid solution). 3. 2 Particle adsorptlon tontentThe proportion of powder particles adsorbed on the surface of steel slag special sand to the total mass of sand particles. 4 Abrasive marking Steel slag special sand abrasive should be marked with "*abrasive GB/T 17850" and the abbreviation \N/SFF\ representing non-metallic steel slag special sand abrasive, followed by the symbol \G\ for the particle shape required to be purchased, and finally the particle size range number expressed in millimeters (see Table 1). Example: Abrasive GB/T 17B50N/SFE/G 0.5-1.01 TTTKAONYKACA GB/T 17850.11—2011 Indicates non-full screen steel special sand material, to meet the requirements of this part of GB/T17850, the initial particle shape is sand, the particle size range is 0.5mm~1.0mm. It is necessary to mark this complete product mark on the order form. Table 1 Particle size distribution Particle size range/ Sieve size/ Strong retention/ % (mass disc fraction) Sieve size/ Residue/ % (mass disc fraction) Sieve size7 Through amount/ % (mass disc fraction) 0. 2~0. 5 0. 2 ~1. 00, 2 ~1. 4]0. 2~2. 00, 2~2, 8j0. 5~1. 0|0. 5-~1, 441,0~2.0 1,4-~2.8 , according to the agreement between the supply and demand parties, the materials of different size ranges can be combined, and the ratio of small, super small and normal size particles should be specified in detail. The maximum particle size should not exceed 3.15mm, and the proportion of particles smaller than 0.2mm should not exceed 5% (quality distribution). 5 Sampling Sampling shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of GB/T17849. 6 Requirements 6. 1 General requirements 6.1.1 Boiler slag special sand abrasive should be a glassy amorphous material and can be recycled multiple times according to actual conditions. 6.1.2 The silicon in steel slag special sand should exist in the form of chain silicate. A.2.2 Weigh two portions of 500 g sample (m2) to an accuracy of 0.01 g. A.2.3 Place the sample in a washing container. Pour clean water so that the water level is about 150 mm above the sample surface. Then stir thoroughly and soak for 2 h. A.2.4 Wash by hand or with tools, and pour the deep water in the porcelain container into a 0.2 mm sieve to filter out particles smaller than 0.2 m2. A.2.5 Repeat A.2.3 until the water in the washing container becomes clear. A.2.6 Place the washed sample in a porcelain dish and dry for 3 h. A.2.7 Weigh the sample (m2) to an accuracy of 0.01 g. A.3 Calculation of results A.3.1 Calculate the adsorbed matter content of the particle according to formula (A.1) to an accuracy of 0.01%. m2. ml×100% Where:bzxZ.net Particle adsorbent content, unit is % (mass fraction); -The mass of the dried sample before the test, unit is gram (g), m1The mass of the dried sample after the test, unit is gram (g). -(A.1) 4.3.2 The test result is the average of two measurements. If the difference between the two measurement results exceeds 0.05%, the test should be repeated.
