Sampling method for stable light hydrocarbons
Issued on December 21, 1994
China National Petroleum Corporation
Implementation on June 1, 1995
Scope of application
Petroleum and Natural Gas Industry Standard of the People's Republic of China Sampling method for stable light hydrocarbons
This standard applies to the sampling of stable light hydrocarbons in oil and gas fields. 2 Reference Standards
GB4756-84 Sampling Method for Petroleum and Liquid Petroleum Products (Manual Method) 3 Method Summary
SY/ T 0543 94
Use a sampling tube to connect the sampling port and the sampler, first rinse the sampling container with the sample, and then take the liquid sample to 85%~95% of the sampler volume
Sampling Device
All samplers, sampling tubes or other parts that come into contact with the sample cannot be made of copper products. 4.1 Sampler
4.1.1 The sampler should use an aluminum alloy or stainless steel bottle with a volume of 50~40001m1L, which can be made into a single valve non-discharge tube type, a double valve non-discharge tube type, a double valve discharge tube type and a double valve with a sampling port type, see Figure 1 for details. 4.1.2 The pressure resistance of the sampler should be greater than 2.0MPa, and air tightness test should be carried out regularly: 4.2 Sampling pipe
The sampling pipe should be equipped with a control valve and a vent valve, see Figure 2, the sampling pipe is made of stainless steel, nylon or other metal bellows. The valve is a stainless steel needle valve.

5 Safety precautions
The sampling personnel should wear anti-static clothing and use steel tools. a.
b. When sampling, a container for waste samples should be prepared. 6 Sampling principles
a. Follow the relevant contents of Chapter 2 and Chapter 3 of GB4756-84. b. If there are special circumstances, the sampling can be carried out according to the method agreed by both parties. 7 Sampling steps
Preparation of sampler
Select the sampler according to the requirements of the test. The sampler should be kept clean and dry. 7.2 Rinse the sampling tubeWww.bzxZ.net
Firmly connect the two ends of the sampling tube to the sampling port and the sampler inlet valve. Close the sampler inlet valve, open the control valve and the vent valve. Rinse the sampling tube with the sample.
7.3 Clean the sampler
7.3.1 For a single-valve sampler, open the inlet valve, close the vent valve, take the sample into the sampler, then close the control valve, open the vent valve, and discharge the sample. This cleaning operation should be performed at least three times. The last time, the inlet valve of the sampler should be closed, the sampler should be removed from the sampling tube, the sampler should be turned upside down to open the inlet valve, and the sample should be completely discharged. 7.3.2 For a double-valve sampler, take it to an upright position with its outlet valve on top, close the vent valve: open the inlet valve, open the control valve, open the inlet valve to discharge the gas, close the outlet valve, close the control valve, invert the sampler to open the outlet valve, open the vent valve, and discharge the liquid phase sample. Repeat the cleaning operation once.
7.4 Sampling
SI/ T 0543--94
7.4.1 After cleaning the sampler, close the vent valve, open the control valve and the inlet valve, and fill the sampler with the sample. Close the inlet valve and the sampling port valve, open the vent valve, and after the pressure is completely released, remove the sampler from the sampling tube. If you need to take another sample, repeat the operation in 7.2, and then proceed to operation in 7.3.1 (single-valve sampler) or operation in 7.3.2 (double-valve sampler). After obtaining enough samples, remove the sampling tube from the sampling door. If the sampler is opened during operation, the sample of the sampler will be invalid. Sampling shall be carried out again according to the provisions of 7.2.7.3.7.4 of this standard.
7.4.2 Adjust the sampling volume
7.4.2.1 For non-discharge tube type samplers, use the weighing method to discharge 5%~15% of the total volume of the sampler. If the sampler cannot be weighed on site, a small amount of sample should be discharged to prevent the sample from expanding and generating excessive pressure due to temperature changes. 7.4.2.2 For discharge tube type samplers, place the valve at one end of the sampler equipped with the discharge tube at the top in an upright state, and slightly open the outlet valve to allow excess liquid to flow out. When steam just appears, immediately close the top valve. If no liquid flows out, the sample is invalid. 8 Leakage check
After releasing the excess liquid sample, put the sampler in water to check for leakage. If leakage is found, the sample is invalid. 9 Sample storage
The sample should be stored in a cool place until all tests are completed. In order to prevent the sampler valve from being accidentally opened or damaged, a protective cap or a screw plug should be installed, and the sampler should be placed in a special sampling box or frame. 10 Sampling records
