Categories and codes GB 16809--1997 4.3 The opening size of steel fireproof windows shall comply with the provisions of GB5824. 5 Technical requirements Function Fixed Movable Fire resistance 5.1 Steel fireproof windows shall comply with the requirements of this standard and be manufactured according to approved drawings and technical documents. 5.2 Materials and accessories 5.2.1 Glass The glass of steel fireproof windows shall be fireproof glass and shall be a qualified product certified by the national fire protection product testing agency. 5.2.2 Steel The steel used for the steel fireproof window frame shall comply with the provisions of the corresponding steel standards. 5.2.3 Sealing materials 5.2.3.1 The window frame of steel fireproof windows shall be provided with sealing grooves, and fireproof sealing strips shall be embedded in the grooves. 5.2.3.2 The sealing materials between the sash and glass of steel fireproof windows shall be non-combustible materials or flame-retardant materials. 5.2.4 Hardware accessories The melting temperature of the hinges, latches and other hardware accessories installed on the steel fireproof windows shall not be lower than 950℃. 5.2.5 Automatic closing devices shall be provided on movable steel fireproof windows. 5.3 Appearance quality 5.3.1 The riveted and welded joints of steel fireproof windows shall be firm, and there shall be no defects such as false welding, fracture, looseness, etc. The bolted joints shall be firm, and there shall be no looseness. 5.3.2 The surface of steel fireproof windows shall be flat, and there shall be no appearance defects such as burrs, welding slag and obvious hammer marks. 5.3.3 Before immersing or applying anti-rust paint, steel fireproof windows should be degreased and derusted. The paint layer should be uniform in thickness and should not have obvious defects such as paint accumulation and paint leakage. 5.3.4 The window sash of movable steel fireproof windows should be flexible to start and should not have defects such as blocking, warping, and rebound. 5.4 Dimensions and allowable deviations 5.4.1 Dimensions of steel fireproof window frames 5.4.1.1 The allowable deviations of width and height dimensions shall comply with the provisions of Table 3. 5.4.1.2 The allowable length deviations of the two diagonals shall comply with the provisions of Table 4. 5.4.2 The overlap b of the frame and sash of steel fireproof windows shall comply with the provisions of Table 5. 5.4.3 When the steel fireproof window is closed, the gap c between the window frame and the window sash shall comply with the provisions of Table 6. 5.5 Fire resistance performance The fire resistance limits of steel fireproof windows are divided into three levels: A, B, and C. Grade 1 Grade 1 Grade 2 Grade 2 Grade 3 6.1.2 If any of the inspection items fails to meet the standards, it is allowed to be re-inspected after adjustment and repair until it meets the standards. 6.2 Type inspection 6.2.1 The inspection items are all the contents of the technical requirements of this standard. 6.2.2 Type inspection shall be conducted in any of the following cases: a) trial production and finalization of new products or old products when they are transferred to other factories for production; b) after formal production, if there are major changes in the product structure, materials, technology, and processing methods of key processes, which may affect the performance of the product; c) when a major quality accident occurs; d) when the product is stopped for more than one year and then resumes production; e) when the quality supervision agency makes a request, 6.3 Sampling and judgment rules 6.3.1 Random sampling shall be adopted among the products that have passed the factory inspection, and 3 steel fireproof windows shall be selected as samples for sealed samples for inspection 6.3.2 Among the 3 samples, one shall be selected for testing. If it is qualified, it shall be judged as qualified. If the first sample fails, the second sample shall be selected for testing. If it passes, it shall be judged as qualified, and if it fails, it shall be judged as unqualified. 7 Test methods 7.1 Materials and accessories 7.1.1 The fireproof glass used for steel fireproof windows shall have a qualified inspection report certified by the national fire protection product testing agency, and other materials and accessories shall have a factory certificate and a warranty from the manufacturer. 7.1.2 The combustion performance of the sealing material used for steel fireproof windows shall be tested in accordance with the provisions of GB8625 or GB5464. 513 7.2 Appearance quality GB 16809—1997 The appearance quality of steel fireproof windows shall meet the requirements of 5.3 of this standard and shall be inspected by visual inspection and manual test. 7.3 Dimensions 7.3.1 The width and height allowable deviations of the steel fireproof window frame shall meet the requirements of 5.4.1.1 of this standard and shall be measured with a steel tape measure with an accuracy of not less than 1mm, and the measurement position shall be 50 to 100mm from the end. 7.3.2 The allowable length deviation of the two diagonal lines of the steel fireproof window frame shall meet the requirements of 5.4.1.2 of this standard and be measured with a steel tape measure or special measuring tool with an accuracy of not less than 1mm, and the measurement position is the inner corner. 7.4 The overlap b of the frame and sash of the steel fireproof window shall meet the requirements of 5.4.2 of this standard and be measured with a depth gauge or caliper with an accuracy of not less than 1mm. 7.5 The gap c between the steel fireproof window frame and the sash shall meet the requirements of 5.4.3 of this standard and be measured with a depth gauge or caliper with an accuracy of not less than 0.1mm feeler gauge or other special tools are used for measurement. The measurement position is the midpoint of both sides and the upper and lower sides of the window sash when the steel fireproof window is closed. 7.6 Fire resistance limit The fire resistance performance of steel fireproof windows shall be tested in accordance with the provisions of GB7633. During the test, no temperature measurement points shall be arranged on the window frame of the tested steel fireproof windows. 8 Marking, packaging, transportation, storage 8.1 Marking The trademark, name, specification model, fire resistance limit, manufacturer name and factory date shall be marked in a conspicuous position on each factory product. 8.2 Packaging and transportation The packaging and transportation of steel fireproof window products shall comply with the provisions of GB6388 and shall avoid collision to prevent scratches and damage to the glass. 8.3 Storage Steel fireproof window products shall be stored vertically in a dry and ventilated warehouse, and shall avoid contact with corrosive substances and storage in an environment with corrosive gases.
