This standard was first issued in March 1979. 1 Scope Machinery Industry Standard of the People's Republic of China Floor-type lathe This standard specifies the parameters of floor-type lathes. JB/T2523.2-1999 Replaces JB2523.2-79 This standard applies to new-design floor-type lathes for general use with a maximum workpiece rotation diameter of 1600-8000mm in the pit and a maximum workpiece length of 2000-4000mm between the centers. It also applies to floor-type lathes for general use without pits. 2 Parameters The type of floor-type lathe is shown in Figure 1. The parameters of the machine tool should comply with the provisions of Table 1.
