National Standard of the People's Republic of China Types of open-end wrenches, box wrenches and combination wrenches GB/T 4388-1995 Replaces GB4388--84 This standard adopts the international standards ISO10102:1990 "Assembly tools for screws and nuts-IS010103:1990 "Assembly tools for screws and nuts-Double-head open-end wrenches" -Double-head straight neck and bent neck box wrenches", ISO10104:1990 "Assembly tools for screws and nuts-Double-head high-necked and low-necked box wrenches" and ISO7738:1990 "Combination wrenches". 1 Subject content and scope of application This standard specifies the types of open-end wrenches, box wrenches and combination wrenches. This standard applies to the fixed-end wrenches, box end wrenches and combination wrenches specified in GB/T4625 (numbered 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 13 and 14 respectively). 2 Reference standards GB/T4625 Terms of assembly tools for screws and nuts 3 Product classification 3.1 Fixed-end wrenches are divided into two types: double-end fixed-end wrenches and single-end fixed-end wrenches (see Figures 1 and 2). Their overall length L and head thickness H are as specified in Tables 1 and 2. They are also divided into short-necked and high-necked types (see Figures 3 to 6), as well as straight-necked and bent-necked types (see Figures 7 and 8) according to the shape of the neck. The overall length Lz and head thickness, H2, shall be in accordance with the provisions of Tables 1 and 2. Its overall length L and head thickness H, and H. shall be in accordance with the provisions of Table 2. Combination wrench Note: ① The opening depth of the fixed wrench should not be less than 0.9S. ② There is no restriction on the shape of the fixed wrench.
