GB 917.1 89
This standard specifies the naming, numbering and coding methods for national highways (referred to as national highways), provincial trunk highways (referred to as provincial highways) and county, township and special highways.bzxZ.net
This standard is applicable to the processing and exchange of highway information in various national highway, transportation, surveying and mapping, management and other aspects. It is also applicable to the identification of public information carriers.

3 Compilation principles
3.1 Highway route numbering rules and code regulations are given separately, and the structure is different. 3.2 When the highway route information is processed and transmitted in an automated manner throughout the country, its number can be used as a code, and the rules for use shall be implemented in accordance with Article 7 of this standard. 3.3 This standard defines the highway as a highway section divided by administrative divisions based on the boundaries of administrative divisions, and provides the coding structure and method in Article 8.
3.4 The sections of the highway route that pass through the city shall still be numbered and coded in accordance with the provisions of this standard. 4 Highway route naming
4.1 The name of the highway route is composed of the starting point of the route plus the connector "". The route abbreviation shall use the first Chinese character or abbreviation of the starting point. The downstream highway name and abbreviation shall not be repeated. When individual repetitions occur, other abbreviations that can represent the characteristics of the starting point of the route shall be used to distinguish them. For example: Beijing-Tangzhan Gong, abbreviated as "Jingtang Line". 4.2 If the starting point of the route is the connecting point of two highways or a residential area, the name of the location of the point shall be used. 5 Rules for numbering highway routes
5.1 Highway route numbers consist of a one-digit highway management grade code and three-digit numbers. 5.2 National highways are numbered in sequence according to the radial lines connecting the capital, the north-south longitudinal lines, and the east-west transverse lines. The radial lines centered on the capital are composed of a one-digit identification code "1" and a two-digit route sequence number; the longitudinal lines from north to south are composed of a one-digit identification code "2" and a two-digit route sequence number; the transverse lines from east to west are composed of a one-digit identification code "3" and a two-digit route sequence number. 5.3 Provincial highways are numbered in sequence according to the radial lines of the provincial capital (capital), the north-south longitudinal lines, and the east-west transverse lines within the boundaries of each province, autonomous region, and municipality directly under the central government; the numbering rules are approved by the State Administration of Technical Supervision on 1989-03-27 and implemented on 1989-10-01
in accordance with Article 5.2.
GE 917.1—89
5.4 County, township, special roads and other roads are compiled in sequence based on the highway management areas of each province, autonomous region, and municipality. They are all composed of three-digit route sequence numbers; when the sequence number is less than three digits, \0\ is filled in the first digit. 5.5 Numbering interval: Highway route compilation interval National highways are G101 to G199, G201 to G299, G301 to G399: Provincial highways are S101 to S199S201 to S299, S301 to S399, county, township special roads and other roads are X/Y/Z/Q001X/Y/Z/Q999. 6 Numbering structure
The highway route compilation structure is shown in Table 1t

G×××
Highway Route code
National highway GIXX refers to the capital radial line, G2×× refers to the north-south longitudinal line. G3×× refers to the east-west horizontal line. Provincial highway S1×× refers to the provincial capital (provincial government) radial line, 52×× refers to the north-south longitudinal line. S3×× refers to the east-west horizontal line. County highway number
Village highway number
Special highway number
Other highway numbers
7.1 Highway route code refers to the code specified to ensure the uniqueness of highway route numbers during national information sharing and exchange. 7.2 National highway route code is the national highway route number: the code structure is G×××7.3 Provincial highway and highway route codes below provincial highways are composed of the corresponding highway route numbers and the Chinese provincial administrative division codes of GB2260. The code structure is:
$/X/Y/z/QX×X
8 Management and use
China Provincial Administrative Division Code
Route Number
8.1 In order to ensure the relative stability of highway route numbers, the newly added numbers will be temporarily added after the original number sequence according to the highway route numbering rules; when the highway with existing route numbers changes (such as straightening, extension, upgrading, etc.), the changes should be reported to the highway authority in a timely manner. The national highway numbers will be uniformly promulgated when this standard is revised: the provincial highway, county, township, special and other highway route numbers will be revised according to the regulations of the highway authority. Highway route numbers and codes that are not compiled according to national standard rules and have not been formally approved by the competent authorities should not be used for information exchange. 8.2 When marking public information carriers, such as in maps, highway traffic maps and related charts printed and published by the state and various ministries and commissions, or marked on one-way supplies, signs, etc., the highway route number can be directly indicated. When sharing and exchanging information nationwide, the highway route code must be used. 8.3 If it is necessary to use the highway section code divided by administrative divisions, the code should be composed of the highway route number and the Chinese administrative division code of GB2260. The code structure is: G/S/X/Y/Z/Q××× ×××××X Chinese administrative division code
Route number
8.4 The highway section code divided by administrative divisions can be selected according to the specific scope and needs. The code structure of equal-length code bits should be specified and explained when transmitting information. The following structure can be used: GXXX
GB 917. 1 -89
xxxxxx
XXXXXX
5 If there are repeated sections between two or more highways, the section code should be compiled mainly based on the route number of the highway with a higher management level or a smaller number in the same level, and uniqueness should be guaranteed.
