Notice on the release of the national standard "Technical Specification for Composite Steel Formwork"

According to the requirements of the former State Planning Commission's document No. Jizong [1986] 2630, the Ministry of Metallurgical Industry and relevant departments have revised the "Technical Specification for Composite Steel Formwork" GBJ214-82. After review by relevant departments, the revised "Technical Specification for Composite Steel Formwork" GBJ214-89 is now approved as a national standard and will be implemented on January 1, 1990. The original "Technical Specification for Composite Steel Formwork" GBJ214-82 was abolished on December 31, 1989.
This standard is managed by the Ministry of Metallurgical Industry, and the specific interpretation and other work is the responsibility of the Construction Research Institute of the Ministry of Metallurgical Industry. This specification is based on the notice of the State Planning Commission's Jizong [1986] No. 2630 document. The revision group was formed by the Ministry of Metallurgy's Building Research Institute and relevant scientific research, design, production and construction units across the country. Jointly revised the original "Technical Specifications for Combined Steel Formwork" GBJ214-82.
In the process of revising this specification, a relatively extensive investigation was conducted on the construction technology, production quality and use management experience of the promotion and application of combined steel formwork in various departments and regions. The opinions of relevant units across the country were also solicited. Special research and repeated discussions were also conducted on the main issues, and finally the draft was reviewed and finalized together with relevant departments. This specification is divided into six chapters and nine appendices. The main contents of the revision are: adding more specifications and varieties of steel formwork and accessories; modifying the quality standards and quality inspection methods for steel formwork production, adjusting the sampling methods for steel formwork and accessories; adding relevant contents such as construction and acceptance, installation and removal, safety and inspection, maintenance and management, etc. During the implementation of the specification, please pay attention to accumulating information and summarizing experience. If you find that there is a need for modification or supplement, please send your opinions and relevant information to the National Standard Management Group of the Combined Steel Formwork Technical Specification of the General Research Institute of Construction of the Ministry of Metallurgy for reference when revising it. Chapter 1 General
Article 1.0.1 This technical specification is formulated in order to implement the technical and economic policy of replacing wood with steel in capital construction, actively promote the application of composite steel formwork, effectively strengthen the technical management of composite steel formwork, accelerate the turnover of formwork, and improve the comprehensive economic benefits.
Article 1.0.2 This specification applies to the design, production, construction and technical management of composite steel formwork used in cast-in-place concrete projects and precast concrete components of industrial and civil buildings and general structures. For composite formwork with similar structural forms, the relevant provisions of this specification can be referred to. Article 1.0.3 The composite steel formwork referred to in this specification is designed according to the modular system. The steel formwork is formed by pressing and rolling, and has a relatively complete set of accessories for use. It can be assembled into panels of different sizes and integral formworks, which is conducive to the composite steel formwork of on-site mechanized construction.
Article 1.0.4 The modulus of the composite steel formwork shall be consistent with the current national standards "Standard for Coordination and Unification of Building Modulus", "Standard for Coordination of Residential Building Modulus" and "Standard for Coordination of Factory Building Modulus". When designing the structure, the design unit shall combine it with the construction to facilitate the promotion and use of the composite steel formwork.

Chapter 2 Composition and Requirements of Composite Steel Formwork Section 1 General Provisions
Article 2.1.1 The design of composite steel formwork shall be calculated according to the standard load and allowable stress. The allowable stress shall be multiplied by the allowable stress of the current national specifications by the improvement factor of 1.25.
Article 2.1.2 The steel formwork shall have sufficient rigidity and strength. The rigidity and strength of the plane formwork under the specified load shall meet the requirements of Table 3.3.4. Its cross-sectional characteristics shall meet the requirements of Appendix 3.
Article 2.1.3 The steel formwork shall have tight joints, flexible assembly and disassembly, and convenient transportation. Article 2.1.4 The hole spacing of the longitudinal and transverse ribs of the steel formwork shall be consistent with the module of the formwork, and the formwork can be assembled horizontally and vertically.
Article 2.1.5 Other special formworks may be added according to the needs of the project characteristics, but their modulus shall be consistent with the modulus of the steel formworks in this specification. Section 2 Composition and Requirements
Article 2.2.1 The composite steel formwork consists of two major parts: steel formworks and accessories. Among them, the steel formworks include general formworks such as plane formworks, internal angle formworks, external angle formworks, connecting angle formworks, and special formworks such as chamfered edge formworks, beam axil formworks, flexible formworks, lap formworks, adjustable formworks, and patching formworks. The connecting parts of the accessories include U-shaped clips, L-shaped pins, hook bolts, fastening bolts, tension bolts, fasteners, etc.; the supporting parts of the accessories include steel ribs, column hoops, steel pillars, diagonal braces, combined pillars, fasteners, steel pipe brackets, portal brackets, beam clamps, ring beam clamps and trusses, etc.
Article 2.2.2 Steel formwork adopts modular design. The width modulus of general formwork increases by 50mm and the length modulus increases by 150mm. The specifications of steel formwork shall comply with the engineering construction standard full text information system
