Some standard content:
National Standard of the People's Republic of China Determination of content of loss on ignition-Gravimetric method in limestone for chemical industry Limestone for chemical industry--Determination of content of loss on ignition-Gravimetric method Subject content and scope of application This standard specifies the content of loss on ignition determined by the gravimetric method. This standard is applicable to the determination of loss on ignition content in limestone products for chemical industry. 2 Method Summary GB/T 15057.10--94 The sample is placed in a platinum or porcelain crucible and placed in a high-temperature furnace to burn at 1000℃ to constant weight. The lost mass is the loss on ignition. 3 Instruments 3.1 Analytical balance: accurate to 0.1mg. 3.2 High-temperature furnace: with temperature indicator and automatic control device, which can be maintained at 1000±25℃. 3.3 Dryer: with color-changing silica gel as desiccant. 4 Sample Laboratory sample passes through 125μm test sieve (GB6003), 105~~110℃ dry for more than 2h, and cool to room temperature in a desiccator. 5 Analysis steps 5.1 Weigh about 1g of sample, accurate to 0.0001g, and place it in a platinum or porcelain crucible that has been burned to a constant weight. 5.2 Cover with a lid and leave a gap, place in a high-temperature furnace, gradually heat from low temperature to 800~900℃, open the furnace door 2~3 times, each time for about 30s. Continue to heat to 1000℃ and burn for 60min. 5.3 Take out the crucible and cover the crucible immediately. Cool slightly, put in a desiccator, cool to room temperature, and weigh. Repeat the burning for 20min until constant weight is reached. 6 Expression of analysis results The ignition loss (z) expressed as mass percentage is calculated as follows: ml - m2 × 100 Where: m1-mass of the sample before ignition, g; mass of the crucible and the sample after ignition, g;www.bzxz.net mass of the sample, g. Approved by the State Administration of Technical Supervision on May 5, 1994 212 Implementation on February 1, 1995 Allowable difference GB/T15057.10--94 The arithmetic mean of the parallel analysis results is taken as the final analysis result. The absolute difference of the parallel analysis results shall not exceed 0.40%. Additional remarks: This standard is proposed by the Ministry of Chemical Industry of the People's Republic of China.
