Foreword
This standard is equivalent to IEC335-2-38 "Safety of Household and Similar Electrical Appliances Part 2: Special Requirements for Commercial Single- and Double-Sided Electric Heating Pans" (1986) (1st edition). This standard should be used in conjunction with GB4706.1-92 "General safety requirements for household and similar electrical appliances".
The safety standards for household and similar electrical appliances consist of two parts. The first part is the general requirements, and the second part is the special safety requirements for the product.
The part of this standard that says "applicable" means that the corresponding provisions in GB4706.1-92 are applicable to this standard; the part of this standard that says "replace" or "modify" should be based on this standard. The provisions in the standard shall prevail; the part marked "added" in this standard means that in addition to complying with the corresponding provisions of GB4706.1-92, it must also comply with the added provisions in this standard. This standard is proposed by the Industrial Department of the Ministry of Domestic Trade of the People's Republic of China. This standard is under the jurisdiction of the Commercial Electrical Food Processing and Service Equipment Subcommittee of the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Household Electrical Appliances. This standard was drafted by: National Catering Service Machinery Quality Supervision and Inspection Center. The main drafters of this standard: Gu Xiru, Xia Xiaoli, Zhu Jing, Mao Suhua GB4706.37—1997
IEC Foreword
1) IEC related technical committees formulated by all national committees with special concerns about this A formal resolution or agreement on a technical matter that expresses as nearly as possible an international consensus on the issues involved. 2) These resolutions or agreements are in the form of recommendations for international use and are accepted by national committees in this sense. 3) In order to promote international uniformity, IEC hopes that all national committees should adopt them to the extent that their domestic circumstances permit. The contents of IEC standards serve as regulations for their countries. Any inconsistencies between the standards recommended by IEC and the corresponding national standards should be clearly stated in the national standards as much as possible.
IEC Preface
This publication was prepared by Subcommittee 61E of IEC Technical Committee 61 "Safety of Household and Similar Electrical Appliances". It formed The second edition of the IEC 335-2-38 publication and replaces the first edition (1982). The text of this second edition is required to be used in conjunction with the IEC 335-1 publication on which it is based. Based on the second edition (1976) and the second printing (1983), it includes revisions No. 1 (1977), No. 2 (1979) and No. 3 (1982) in future IEC335-1 publications. should be taken into account in the new version or its modifications,
This Part 2 supplements or modifies the corresponding provisions in the IEC335-1 publication in order to convert the publication into the IEC standard: Commercial single-double-sided electric heating Safety Requirements for Clan (Second Edition). If an individual clause in Part I is not mentioned in Part II, the clause is still applicable if it is marked as "added", "modified" or "replaced" in this second edition. The relevant requirements, test specifications or instructions in Part 1 shall be modified accordingly. The following IEC publications are cited in this standard:

This standard applies to commercial single- and double-sided electric heating pans that are not used for general household use. The electrical parts of appliances that use other forms of energy are also within the scope of this standard. The non-electrical parts are not included in the electrical parts. The impact should be considered.
This standard does not apply to:
Electric grills for continuous operation for mass production of food;
-In the presence of corrosive or explosive gases (dust , steam or gas). For appliances used in vehicles, ships or aircraft, special requirements may need to be considered for appliances used in tropical countries. Additional requirements specified by departments and labor protection departments. 2 Definition
This chapter in GB4706.1-92 applies except for the following content. 2.2.4 This article adds the following content:
Rated. The input power is the sum of the rated input powers of all the individual components of the appliance that can operate simultaneously; among several possible such combinations, the combination with the largest input power is used to determine the rated input power. 2.2.19 The following content is added to this article:
“Class I” used in this standard should be understood as class structural components. 2.2.20 The following content is added to this article:
The "class" used in this standard should be understood as a class structural component. 2.2.29 This article is replaced by the following:
Full heat release condition means the following conditions, under which the appliance works: the appliance operates without load according to the manufacturer's instructions, and the controller is adjusted to the following temperature, temperature Measured at the hottest point of each baking surface being controlled.
The segment controller is adjusted to the first position to make the temperature equal to or greater than 275℃. The cycle controller should be adjusted so that the average temperature within the cycle is 275 ± 5°C. If this temperature cannot be reached, adjust the controller to the maximum setting value. The State Bureau of Technical Supervision approved the implementation on 1998-12-01 on 1997-11-25
GB4706.37-1997
The double-sided electric heating pan is opened or closed during operation, whichever is more disadvantageous. In the closed position, use a heat-resistant, low thermal conductivity 10mm thick isolation plate to separate the electric heating plates. The area of ??the isolation plate is equal to the smaller baking area of ??the two heating plates. For double-sided electric heating pans where the two heating plates are not controlled separately, the controller should be adjusted so that the directly controlled heating plate reaches sufficient heat release conditions. When the two heating plates are controlled separately, sufficient heat release conditions apply to both heating plates. 2.2.30 This article is replaced by the following content
Normal load means that the appliance operates under sufficient heat dissipation conditions, and the motor installed in the appliance operates in the required manner, and the manufacturer's instructions indicate that it may occur during normal use. loads when working under the harshest conditions. The following clauses are added to this chapter:
2.2.101 A single-sided electric heating pan is an appliance for baking food in which one side of the food is in direct contact with a heating surface. 2.2.102 Double-sided electric griddle is an appliance for baking food that directly contacts both sides of the food with the two heating surfaces at the same time. 3 General requirements
This chapter in GB4706.1-92 applies. 4 General instructions in testing
Except for the following content, this chapter in GB4706.1-92 applies. The following clauses are added to this chapter:
4.101 For combined appliances, if the input power of the heating part is increased to 1.15 times the rated input power, the voltage required is higher than that required when the motor voltage is increased to 1.06 times the rated voltage. If the voltage exceeds 3V, the motor should use a separate power supply. 4.102 Appliances assembled with other appliances or equipped with other appliances shall be tested in accordance with the requirements of this standard. Other appliances should work simultaneously in accordance with the requirements of relevant standards.
4.103 Unless otherwise specified, the test conditions and requirements apply to both surfaces of the double-sided electric heating pan. 5 RatingsbZxz.net
