GB/120257.3-2006
At present, the national standards or surveying and mapping industry standards for topographic map patterns are: GB/T7929%1!500, 1:100012000 Topographic Map Pattern》GB/T57911:50001:10000 Topographic Map Pattern, GB123421:25000.1-50000, 1:100000 Topographic Map Pattern, GB15944K1:250000 Topographic Map Compilation Specifications and Patterns》, GB145121:1000000 Topographic Map Compilation Specifications and Patterns》. CH/T40111:500000 Topographic Map Compilation Specifications and Patterns" (ZBA79001). These standards have been implemented for nearly 20 years and have played an important role in my country's national economic construction and surveying and mapping production. In order to meet the requirements of digital surveying and mapping production and establish a new standard system for topographic map data production and application, it is necessary to adjust the standard structure of topographic map diagrams. The adjusted structure is as described in the preface. This part is revised and completed after the structural adjustment of GB12342-1990. National Basic Scale Map Format

GB/T13989 National basic scale map division and numbering 3 General provisions
3.1 Classification of symbols
3.1.1 Scaled symbols: symbols of features whose length and width can be expressed according to scale after the features are reduced in scale. 3.1.2 Semi-scaled symbols: symbols of features whose length can be expressed according to scale but whose width cannot be expressed according to scale after the features are reduced in scale. The width dimension value is marked next to the symbol.
3.1.3 Symbols not in scale: When the feature is reduced in scale, its length and width cannot be expressed in scale. The symbol size value is marked next to the symbol.
3. 2 Symbol size
3.2.1 The size value marked with a number next to the symbol is in millimeters. 3.2.2 If only one size value is marked next to the symbol, it means the diameter of a circle or a circumscribed circle, the side length of an equilateral triangle or a square; if two size values are listed in parallel, the first number indicates the height of the main part of the symbol, and the second number indicates the width of the main part of the symbol; the number at one end of a linear symbol, a single line refers to its thickness, and two parallel lines refer to the width of the line (streets refer to the width of the empty part). If the size value needs to be specially marked on the symbol, it will be indicated with a dotted line.
3.2.3 The thickness of the symbol line, the length of the line segment, and the angle between the intersecting line segments, etc., if not marked, shall be based on the symbols in this diagram. Generally, the line thickness is 0.1mmtl, and the point diameter is 0.15mmr. The length of the line of the non-main part of the symbol is 0.3mm (such as the short line of the steep slope), and the angle of the non-orthogonal line segment is 45° or 60°. 3.3 Positioning point and positioning line of positioning symbol
3.3.1 If there is a point in the symbol graphic, the point is the actual center position of the feature. 3.3.2 Symbols such as circles, squares, rectangles, etc., the positioning point is at the center of their geometric figures. 3.3.3 The positioning point of wide-bottom symbols (yurts, smoke towers, water towers, etc.) is at the center of their bottom line. 3.3.4 The positioning point of symbols with right angles at the bottom (windmills, road signs, independent trees, etc.) is at the right angle. 3.3.5 The positioning point of symbols composed of several graphics (Aobao, Jiaozhang, weather stations, etc.) is at the intersection of the center point of the graphics below. 1
GB/T 20257.3—2006
3.3,6 The positioning point of symbols without a bottom line (such as a ridge, cave, etc.) is the center point of the line connecting the two end points below. 3.3.7 The positioning point of other symbols not represented by scale (such as bridges, sluice gates, dams, karst troughs, etc.) is the center point of their symbols. 3.3.8 The positioning line of linear symbols (such as roads, rivers, etc.) is the center axis of their symbols: when represented by scale, it is the center axis of the lines on both sides. 3.4 Direction and configuration of symbols
3.4,1 All symbols are perpendicular to the South Map Line, except those that are represented by their actual direction as specified in the brief description. 3.4.2 The symbols of soil and vegetation can be divided into three types according to their arrangement: a) Column type: arranged in a certain row, such as seedlings, grassland, economic forest, etc.; -1) Hash type: not arranged in a certain row, such as small grass hills, wood forests, and famous plots of land; Corresponding type: according to the sparseness or position of the actual situation, such as sparse forests, scattered trees, etc. When expressing symbols, attention should be paid to showing their distribution characteristics.
When the symbols are arranged, the symbols are generally arranged according to the intervals represented by the diagram. When the area is large, the symbol interval can be enlarged by 1 to 3 times. Under the principle of being able to express clearly, the method of annotation can be used for expression. Note that the symbol used is an explanatory symbol and has no positional meaning. The symbols are arranged in a row or column within the distribution range of the landforms to indicate the category of the surface landforms.
3.5 Symbol usage and requirements
3.5.1 In the diagram, except for special marks, solid lines generally represent the intersection of the outer wheel of the feature and the ground (except for bridges, sluice gates, and overhead lines), dashed lines represent the projection of the underground or overhead parts of the feature on the ground, and dotted lines represent the land classification line and the feature boundary line. 3.5.2 The features represented according to scale are divided into the following situations: a) The distribution range of the feature is represented according to scale, and the surface color is added within its range, such as rivers, etc.; or descriptive symbols or notes are configured, such as economic forests or garbage dumps, etc.
The buildings within the distribution range of the surface feature are represented by corresponding symbols, and the name notes are configured at the appropriate position within its range. If the name notes cannot be included in the diagram, non-scale symbols can be configured at the appropriate position or the main building position, such as schools, etc., or brief descriptive notes can be configured within its range, such as breeding farms, etc. See Appendix A for brief descriptive notes. c) For features with unclear distribution boundaries, no range line is indicated, but explanatory symbols are arranged within their range, such as saline-alkali land. d
For features that are distributed in groups adjacent to each other, their range is indicated according to the scale, and non-scale symbols can be arranged at moderate positions within their range, such as cemeteries.
3.5.3 When two features overlap, the part of the lower layer covered by the upper layer is disconnected according to the projection principle, and the upper layer remains intact. 3.5.4 The sizes of various symbols are specified according to the map sheet with medium density content of the topographic map. In order to make the topographic map clear and easy to read, except for those that allow symbols to cross and combine, the spacing between symbols (including the spacing between the contour line and the corresponding non-scale symbol) should generally not be less than 0.2 mm. If the density of features in some areas is too high and cannot be accommodated on the map, it is allowed to slightly reduce the size of the symbol (reduction rate not greater than 0.8) or move the important feature symbols. When the symbols of linear features represented by double lines are very close to each other, they can be represented by collinearity. 3.5.5 When the key features of the features are dense and the positions of the key features on the map are in conflict, the principle of handling their avoidance relationship is generally clear: when the natural geographical elements conflict with the artificial building elements, move the artificial building elements; when the main feature conflicts with the secondary feature, move the secondary feature; when the independent feature conflicts with other features, move other elements. 3.5.6 For some buildings and structures on the ground, the symbols are not specified in the diagram, and it is inconvenient to classify and display them. The outline or range of the object can be represented and explained. The feature circle graphic line is represented by a 0.1mm solid line, and the feature distribution range line and land class boundary are represented by land class boundary symbols.
3.5.7 In the soil and vegetation symbol column of this diagram, those with dotted lines indicate that the field boundary line should be represented by the land class boundary symbol; those with solid lines indicate that the range line is not represented and only the symbol is provided in the outline. 3.5.8 The width, depth, height and other numerical notations beside the symbol shall be marked to 0.1 rm for less than 3 m and to the whole meter for greater than 3 m. In various mathematical descriptions, "greater than" includes the number itself (e.g. greater than 3 m, including 3 m) and "less than" does not include the number itself. The meanings of "above" and "below" in various symbol level descriptions are the same as above. 2
3.5.9 Appendix B gives examples of symbol representation and coordination. 3.6 Topographic map framing and gallery decoration
The framing numbering of topographic maps shall be implemented in accordance with the provisions of GB/T13980. Gallery decoration is shown in the appendix.

4.1 Survey control point
Brief description
GB/T20257.3--2006
The geometric center of each survey control point symbol on the map indicates the center position of the field 1 control point mark: the elevation note next to the symbol indicates the elevation of the top surface of the field mark. The elevation is generally noted on the right side of the symbol: the specific height is noted on the right side of the symbol. The elevation of the survey control point shall be noted to 0.011n if it is measured by the fourth-class leveling or higher accuracy, and to 0.1m for the others. If the survey control point is located in the residential area, its elevation note can be omitted if it affects the representation of the residential area, but the symbol of the leveling point shall be omitted at the same time. If independent features such as smoke towers and water towers are used as control points, the corresponding feature symbols shall be indicated on the map, and the elevation and feature relative height shall be noted.
4.1.1 National-level triangulation points and precision traverse points determined by triangulation or precision traverse methods. Those located on earth piles and the upper piles cannot be represented according to the scale shall be indicated by the symbol "a". 4.1.2 5" or 10" small triangulation points, traverse points and buried rock control points with marks chiseled on natural rocks and whose accuracy is lower than that of small triangulation points.
Those located on earth piles and the earth piles cannot be represented according to the scale shall be indicated by the symbol "a". 4.1.3 National-level off-line control points determined by leveling methods. 4.1.4 AA-level control points measured by satellite positioning technology. 4.1.5 National-level control points measured by satellite positioning technology, including A to E levels. 4.1.6 Control points whose geographic coordinates and azimuths are directly measured by astronomical observation methods. Astronomical points with geodetic coordinates are represented by triangulation point symbols. 4.2 Water system
4.2.1 Natural rivers on the ground with water all year round. The shoreline is the boundary between the water surface and the land, also known as the water protection line. The shoreline of rivers, lakes and reservoirs is generally measured according to the water level at the time of photography (or mapping). If the photography (or mapping) time is the dry or flood season, and the measured water level is very different from the normal water level (the stable water level during part of the year), it should be measured according to the shoreline with water level. The high-water shoreline is the boundary between the commercial water surface and the land during the rainy season, also known as the high water boundary. When the distance between the high water boundary and the water line is greater than 2 m, the high water boundary should be indicated. The high water boundary of a river represented by a single line is not indicated, nor is the high water boundary of a pond, reservoir or field whose boundary is not obvious. When the high water boundary coincides with a steep bank, the high water boundary is omitted and the steep bank symbol is indicated. If there is a beach between the high water boundary and the water line, the corresponding beach symbol is used to indicate it. If the width of a river is greater than 0.4 mm on the map, it is indicated by a double line according to the scale, and if it is less than 0.4 inm, it is indicated by a 0.1mm~0.4m single line representation. The actual river width corresponds to the width represented on the map, see Table 1. GB/T 20257.3—2006

4.2.3 The river flows through swamps, sandy areas, etc., and there is no obvious riverbed or surface water flow. The disappeared river section is represented by one or two rows of dotted lines according to the actual width. If the length on the map is less than the spacing between the three points of the symbol, it can be omitted. 4.2.4 Natural streams with seasonal water.
The upper boundary of its new sediment (silt) is the seasonal river bank line (not a fixed water certificate line), and the water month is added. Seasonal rivers with a width greater than 0.4m are represented by double dashed lines according to the scale, and those less than 0.4mm are represented by single dashed lines of 0.1mm~0.4mm. The seasonal river width in Andi corresponds to the seasonal river represented by a single line with the same width as in Table 1. The length of the real part of the symbol can be gradually changed from 0.5mm to 2.0mm according to the length of the river, and the blank part can be gradually changed from Xo.3mm to 0.5mm.
4.2.5 Riverbeds with water for a short period of time after precipitation or snowmelt, or river channels left after river diversion. Dry riverbeds are divided into riverbeds and overland rivers (rivers without obvious riverbeds). Dry riverbeds with a width less than 0.4 mm on the map are indicated by a single line with a gradient of 0.1 mm to 0.4 mm, and those with a width greater than 0.4 mm are indicated by double lines according to the scale: riverbeds with a width less than 3 mm should be indicated by contour lines and corresponding soil symbols. The actual dry riverbed width corresponds to the width indicated on the map in the same way as in Table 1. The length of the real part of the dry riverbed symbol indicated by a single line can be gradually changed to 0.5 mm to 2.0 mm according to the length of the dry riverbed, and the blank part can be gradually changed to 0.3 m to 0.5 mn. The riverbank of the riverbed can be indicated with gully symbols according to the side erosion of the flowing water, and the flooded dry river is indicated with the corresponding soil symbol. 4.2.6 Artificial waterways dug across river basins for water diversion and navigation. The indicated width of the canal on the map is determined by the distance between the riverbanks, and the name of the canal section is added if it has a name. The South-to-North Water Diversion Project is also indicated by this symbol, and the corresponding name annotation or the annotation "South-to-North Water Diversion Project" is added. 4.2.7 Artificially constructed waterways for irrigation, water diversion and drainage. The ditches should be determined based on the distance between the actual ditch edges on the ground, as shown in Table 2. Scale
