ICS 13.100 Record number: 8128-2001 Petroleum and Natural Gas Industry Standard of the People's Republic of China SY 6506--2000 Specification Tor safety production management of dry gas transportation of sour gas field2000-12-2 Issued National Petroleum and Chemical Industry Bureau 2001-06-01 Implementation SY 6506-2000bZxz.net All technical contents of this standard are mandatory. Foreword Dry gas transportation of sour gas is a process of transporting sour wet natural gas through pipelines after dehydration. It is one of the measures to prevent corrosion and ensure safe operation of sour gas field gathering and transportation pipelines. In order to standardize the safe operation and production management of gas transportation in sour gas fields, this standard is specially formulated. Who This standard is proposed by China National Petroleum Corporation. This standard is under the jurisdiction of the Shanxi Petroleum Industry Safety Professional Standardization Technical Committee: This standard is promoted by the Sichuan Petroleum Exploration and Design Institute. This standard is drafted by the Chongqing Gas Mine of Southwest Oil and Gas Field Branch. The main drafters of this standard are Yu Hancheng, Han Xu, Cheng Hongyi, Shao Mu 1 Scope Petroleum and Natural Gas Industry Standard of the People's Republic of China Specification for safety production management of dry gas Transportation of sour gas field This standard specifies the basic requirements for technical operation and production management of safe dry gas transportation of sour gas. SY 6506—2000 This standard applies to the safe technical operation and production management of sour gas daily dry gathering and transportation pipelines and stations (excluding dehydration stations). 2 Referenced standards The provisions contained in the following standards constitute the provisions of this standard through reference in this standard. When this standard is published, the versions shown are valid: All standards are subject to revision. Parties using this standard should explore the possibility of using the latest versions of the following standards: SYI4051-91 Technical Code for Fire Safety of Oil and Gas Field Gathering and Transportation Process Pipelines SY5225-1994 Fire and Explosion Safety Management Regulations for Oil and Gas Drilling, Development, Storage and Transportation SY/T5922-94 Specification for Buried Pipes for Natural Gas Transmission SY6186-1996 Safety Regulations for Oil and Gas Pipelines SY/T6 233—1996 Specification for commissioning of natural gas pipelinesSY6277—1997 Regulations on hydrogen sulfide monitoring and personal safety protection in sour oil and gas fieldsSY6320—1997 Safety regulations for oil and gas gathering and transportation in onshore oil and gas fieldsSY/I6.383—1999 Regulations for long-distance natural gas pipeline cleaning3 Definitions This standard adopts the following definitions: 3.1 Dry som gas Natural gas containing HS that cannot precipitate liquid water during pipeline transportation. 3.2 Dry wur gas Irans mission pipeclincGathering and transportation pipelines for transporting dry sour gas. 3.3 Gathering and transportation stationGas gatheting runid transportation stationThe starting and ending points of the gathering and transportation pipeline and the transportation stations along the line. 3.4 Dew point dcw point The temperature corresponding to the first drop of water precipitated from natural gas under a constant pressure 3.5 Dehydrated natural gas dchydratednaturalgas Natural gas whose water content reaches the design requirements after dehydration treatment. +Safety technical requirements for commissioning 4.1 Pipeline + drying 4.1.1 Before drying the pipeline, it is necessary to clean the pipeline (not limited to once) to remove all free water and other dirt in the pipeline. 4.1.2 The pipeline drying method can be: Approved by the State Administration of Petroleum and Chemical Industry on December 12, 2000 and implemented on June 1, 2001 a) Methanol drying method; b) Dry air drying method; c) Vacuum drying method. SY6506—2000 4.1.3 It is required that the dew point of the medium in the pipeline after drying is 10~15℃ lower than the lowest ambient temperature of the pipeline. 4.2 Air replacement of pipelines and stations The air replacement of the gathering and transportation pipelines and stations should be carried out separately. 4.3 Other requirements In addition to meeting the above requirements, the trial operation and commissioning shall also comply with the provisions of SY/T6233. 5 Safety technical requirements for production and operation management 5.1 Gas quality analysis and monitoring 5.1.1 All gas inlet points of the dry gas transmission pipeline must be continuously monitored and recorded with an online moisture analyzer. If the water content exceeds the standard, the dehydration station should be notified immediately for treatment and reported to the relevant departments. 5.1.2 The gas quality of the natural gas in the dry gas transmission pipeline should be regularly analyzed for all components, at least once a month. 5.2 Sewage pool liquid level requirements The sewage pool of the gathering and transportation station should be filled with water, and the water level should be 20 cm higher than the outlet of the sewage pipe. 5.3 Pipeline inspection In addition to daily inspections, pipelines should be inspected regularly, and the requirements shall be implemented in accordance with Chapter 8 of SY6186-1996. Comprehensive inspection of pipelines should be conducted every 3 to 5 years. 5.4 Emergency plan Each production unit shall prepare a complete emergency response plan for abnormal situations. 5.5 Other requirements In addition to meeting the above requirements, the production and operation management of dry gas transmission pipelines shall also be implemented in accordance with the provisions of SY/T5922 and SY/T6383. Safety technical requirements for pipeline and equipment maintenance 6.1 Pipeline and equipment venting 6.1.1 Natural gas venting should be carried out under unified command, and the venting point should be guarded by a dedicated person. 6.1.2 When pipelines and equipment are shut down for maintenance and renovation and expansion construction, the gas source should be cut off first, the natural gas should be vented, and ignited. 6.1.3 When multiple venting is adopted, after the flame height of the vent pipe drops to 1m, the lower venting should be closed first to avoid the formation of negative pressure and the inhalation of air. 6.2 Requirements for pipeline and equipment maintenance 6.2.1 During pipeline maintenance, free water is strictly prohibited from entering the pipeline. 6.2.2 During equipment maintenance in the station, wet operation should be adopted. Before putting the equipment into use, ensure that there is no dirt in the equipment, and replace the air after drying. 6.3 Pipeline and equipment ignition 6.3.1 Before ignition for pipeline and equipment maintenance, refer to 5.4 of SY5225-1994, 13.2 of SY6320-1997 and the relevant provisions of SYJ4051. 6.3.2 Before ignition, nitrogen should be used to replace natural gas in station equipment and pipelines; isolation balls should be installed before ignition of gathering and transmission pipelines. 6.3.3 When the new and old pipelines meet, reliable sealing measures should be taken to prevent natural gas from entering the new pipeline to form an explosive mixture. 6.4 Emergency treatment for abnormal temperature rise of pipelines and equipment After the air replacement operation of pipelines and equipment is completed, if abnormal temperature rise of equipment and pipelines is found during the pressurization process, the gas source should be cut off and vented urgently. 7 Firefighting The allocation and management of firefighting equipment and facilities shall be carried out in accordance with the relevant provisions of SY6320. 2 8H,S monitoring and personal safety protection SY65062000 The monitoring and personal protection of hydrogen sulfide in the production environment of the gathering and transportation station shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of SY6277.
