Some standard content:
GB/T56821995 The original national standard ferroboron is only suitable for steelmaking, cast iron and other purposes as a boron core additive. The regulations of some grades and impurity elements in the standard cannot adapt to the new technology requirements that have developed rapidly in recent years, and cannot meet the needs of ferroboron for new alloy materials (such as amorphous alloys and iron-boron permanent magnet materials). After the ferroboron smelting process, ferroboron is produced by electric carbon thermal method, and cheap and easily available carbonaceous reducing agents are used to replace precious non-ferrous metals such as aluminum and magnesium. Practice has proved that the product is dense, has small segregation and stable quality. This standard has made the following modifications to the original standard: adding two grades, FeB20C0.5 and FeB18C0.5, and canceling the FeB7C2.5 grade in the original standard. The parameters of the tabulated elements in the original standard have been adjusted. The physical state of the original standard has been greatly modified. This standard was proposed by the Ministry of Metallurgical Industry of the People's Republic of China. This standard is under the jurisdiction of the Information Standards Institute of the Ministry of Metallurgical Industry. This standard was drafted by Liaoyang Ferroalloy Plant and Shanghai Zhongjia Ferroalloy Co., Ltd. The main drafters of this standard are Zhang Fumei, Zu Guowen, Niu Chengfu and Chen Hua. This standard was first issued in December 1985, revised for the first time in November 1987 and revised for the second time in September 1994. 1 Scope National Standard of the People's Republic of China Ferroboron GB/T5682—1995 Replaces GB 56828? This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, storage, transportation, marking and quality certificate for ferroboron delivery. This standard is applicable to ferroboron used as a boron additive for steelmaking, casting and for amorphous, ultrafine master alloys, sensitive iron-boron alloys and other purposes. 2 Referenced standards The provisions contained in the following standards constitute the provisions of this standard through reference in this standard.
