Chemical Industry Standard of the People's Republic of China HG/T2059-91 Technical Conditions for Impermeable Graphite Tubes and Fittings Published on July 6, 1991 Ministry of Chemical Industry of the People's Republic of China Implementation on January 1, 1992 Chemical Industry Standard of the People's Republic of China Technical Conditions for Impermeable Graphite Tubes and Fittings 1 Subject Content and Scope of Application HG/T2059-91 This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging and transportation methods for impermeable graphite tubes and fittings. This standard applies to impermeable graphite (extruded and impregnated) tubes and fittings for conveying non-strongly oxidizing media in industries such as chemical and petroleum. 2 Reference standards GB193 Ordinary thread diameter and pitch series (diameter 1~600mm) GB/T13465.2 Test method for flexural strength of impermeable graphite materials GB/T13465.3 Test method for compressive strength of impermeable graphite materials HG/T5-1329 Test method for tensile strength of impermeable graphite materials HG/T2381 Water pressure bursting test method for impermeable graphite tube 3 Terms, symbols, codes Nominal diameter of impermeable graphite tube refers to the inner diameter of the tube YFSG—pressed phenolic graphite tube. YFSG1 (heat treated at 130C after molding), YFSG2 (heat treated at 300C after molding). JSSG—resin-impregnated graphite tube 4 Product classification Impermeable graphite tubes and pipe fittings are mainly divided into: a. Graphite straight tube; Graphite 45° elbow, graphite 90° elbow; graphite tee, graphite cross; Graphite internal joint, graphite external joint;bzxZ.net Graphite wire plug, graphite wire countersunk head; Graphite pipe end, graphite pipe compensator; Graphite pipe flange, graphite pipe end sight glass, etc. 5 Technical requirements 5.1 Appearance Quality The inner and outer surfaces of impermeable graphite tubes and fittings should be smooth, free of bubbles, sand holes, pits, cracks and other defects. 5.2 Basic parameters of impermeable graphite tubes and fittings: allowable pressure ≤0.3MPa. 5.3 Graphite powder particle size Approved by the Ministry of Chemical Industry of the People's Republic of China on July 6, 1991 and implemented on January 1, 1992 HG/T2059-91 For pressed phenolic graphite tubes, the graphite powder particle size must pass 100 degrees and must not be mixed with foreign impurities such as iron filings and copper filings. 5.4 The allowable deviation of the size of impermeable graphite tubes and fittings, and the straightness of the impermeable graphite tubes shall comply with the provisions in Table 1 Table 1 Allowable deviation of the size of impermeable graphite tubes and fittings, and the straightness of impermeable graphite tubes Graphite tube wall thickness and nominal diameter of graphite tubes and fittings (mm) Wall thickness 5~8 Nominal diameter 22~36 36~150 5.5 The mechanical properties of impermeable graphite tubes shall comply with the provisions in Table 2, deviation Table 2 Mechanical properties of impermeable graphite tubes Tensile strength Compressive strength Strength Flexural strength Thermal conductivity (reference value) Linear expansion coefficient Hydraulic pressure bursting strength Permissible temperature Impenetration resistance W/(m·K) >68.6(Φ32/22) (31.4~40.7) 24.7×10-(129℃) >58.8(032/22) (31.4~40.7) 8.2×10-6 (129℃) 7 (@32/22) Straightness (mm/m) >60.0 (032/22) (104.6~116) 2.4×10-6(129) The sample of @32mm/22mm×100mm is subjected to water pressure test at 1MPa for 10 minutes without leakage. 5.6 Connection of impermeable graphite tubes and fittings 5.6.1 The threads of impermeable graphite tubes and fittings shall be processed in accordance with GB193. The threads of graphite tubes and fittings are allowed to have breaks or incomplete tooth shape, but the total length of the breaks shall not exceed 10% of the specified length of the thread, and the same part of two adjacent threads shall not be broken at the same time. 5.6.2 When impermeable graphite tubes and fittings are connected by flanges or other methods, the sealing elements shall be guaranteed to have temperature resistance, pressure resistance and corrosion resistance not lower than that of the impermeable graphite tubes and fittings. 6 Test methods 6.1 The tensile test of impermeable graphite tubes shall be carried out according to the HG5-1329 method, and the compression test of impermeable graphite tubes shall be carried out according to the GB/T13465.3 method. The bending test of impermeable graphite tubes shall be carried out according to the GB/T13465.2 method, and the water pressure burst test of impermeable graphite tubes shall be carried out according to the HG/T2381 method. 2 7 Inspection rules 7.1 Factory inspection of impermeable graphite tubes and fittings, HG/T205991 7.1.1 Impermeable graphite tubes and fittings are tested at a pressure not less than 1.5 times the operating pressure and maintained for 30 minutes without leakage. 7.1.2 Visually observe the appearance quality of impermeable graphite tubes and fittings and measure the dimensional deviation of graphite tubes and fittings with a vernier caliper. 7.2 Sampling and random inspection 7.2.1 When batch inspection of impermeable graphite tubes and fittings is carried out, graphite tubes and fittings made of the same material and process are considered as a batch. 7.2.2 The mechanical properties of impermeable graphite tubes shall be inspected at least once a month. 7.3 Judgment rules The appearance quality, dimensional deviation and mechanical properties of impermeable graphite tubes and fittings shall comply with the requirements specified in Chapter 5. If any of the tensile, compressive, bending and water pressure bursting strength indicators of the graphite tube do not meet the requirements, the batch of graphite tubes will be unqualified. 8 Marking, packaging and transportation 8.1 Before the product leaves the factory, a label indicating the production batch number and specifications shall be fixed in an obvious position. 8.2 The product is packaged in boxes, and the boxes are marked with signs of lightning protection, fragile, moisture-proof and handle with care. 8.3 The product should be handled with care during installation and should be stable during transportation. Impact, magnetic support and other issues should be avoided.
