This standard adopts the international standard IEC227 "450/750V and below Polymer Vinyl chloride insulated cables". 1 Scope of application
GB 9330.188
1.1 This standard applies to AC rated voltage U. /U is a copper core plastic insulated control cable for 450/750V and below. 1.2 This standard should be used together with GB9330.2-. 2 Reference standards
2.1 This standard cites the valid versions of the following standards: GB2900
Electrical Terminology

2.2 When other standards must be quoted, they should be included in this document Standards are specified in subsequent standards corresponding to the standard. 3 Definitions
3.1 The terms in this standard adopt the definitions of GB2900. 3.2 Rated voltage
Rated voltage is the reference voltage used for cable design and electrical performance testing, expressed in U. /U means, the unit is V. U. - The effective value of the voltage between any main insulated conductor and "ground" (metal shield, gold sheath or surrounding medium). U - The effective value of the voltage between any two phase conductors of a multi-core cable (wire) or single-core cable (wire) system. When cables (wires) are used in AC systems, the rated voltage of the cable (wires) should be at least equal to the nominal voltage of the system. When used in a DC system, the nominal voltage of the system should not be greater than 1.5 times the rated voltage of the cable (wire). The operating voltage of the system should not be greater than 1.1 times the rated voltage of the system. 4 Naming and codename
