Chemical Industry Standard of the People's Republic of China
Determination of apparent hardness of rubber rollers
Shore durometer method
HG/T 2413.2 — 92
This standard is equivalent to the international standard ISO7267/2--86 "Determination of apparent hardness of rubber rollers — Part 2: Shore durometer". The hardness of rubber rollers is an important indicator affecting their performance and is usually measured on finished rollers. The hardness of the rubber roller depends on the test method, rubber material, roller diameter, and coating rubber thickness. In the case of very thin coating rubber, it also depends on the core characteristics. This standard uses the term "apparent hardness" to distinguish the hardness measured on the standard sample. Due to the different specifications, structures and uses of rubber rollers, the purpose of measurement is also different. It is not enough to specify only one test method. For this reason, three independent methods are specified: rubber international hardness tester method, Shore hardness tester method, and Zhao (PJ) hardness tester method. This standard describes the Shore hardness tester method. 1 Subject content and scope of application
This standard specifies the test conditions, instruments and test steps for the determination of apparent hardness of rubber rollers by the Shore hardness tester method. This standard is applicable to the determination of Shore hardness on vulcanized rubber rollers. It is mainly used for the determination of intermediate precision requirements. 2 Reference standards\
GB531 Rubber Shore A hardness test method GB/T2941 Standard temperature, humidity and time for environmental conditioning and testing of rubber specimens GB9894 Rubber roller hardness requirements
3 Sample parking time||tt| |Testing shall not be conducted less than 16 hours after vulcanization and polishing: As an arbitration test, the storage time after vulcanization shall not be less than 72 degrees. 4 Test temperature and adjustment
The test shall be conducted in a standard test room. The standard test room temperature is 23 ± 2°C (according to GB/T2941). In order to balance the sample with the test environment temperature, the sample shall be stored under the test conditions for a sufficient time. If the sample is large, the storage time and test conditions shall be specified in the product technical conditions. In order to be comparable, the entire process of each or each group of tests shall be The same temperature should be used.
5 Instruments
5.1 Use of Shore A and Shore D hardness testers Shore A hardness tester should comply with the provisions of GB531. Note: 1) JSO7619-86 "Rubber - Determination of indentation strength using a draw hardness tester" specifies the test method for Shore D hardness tester. Reference can be made to the translation of the Beidong Rubber Products Design Institute, approved by the Ministry of Chemical Industry of the People's Republic of China on October 22, 1992 and implemented on July 1, 1993
HG / T 2413.,2 92
5.2 When the data measured by the Shore A durometer exceeds 90, the Shore D durometer should be used. When the data measured by the Shore D durometer is less than 20, the Shore A durometer should be used.
6 Test steps
6.1 Place the rubber sheet to be tested firmly, so that its axis is horizontal and the surface to be tested is at the highest position. Hold the durometer and place the indenter above the surface to be tested. Then, place the indenter firmly on the surface of the rubber sheet, ensuring that the indenter is perpendicular to the surface to be tested. Apply appropriate force to make the pressure foot contact closely with the rubber roller. Read the value immediately after 1 second of close contact. 6.2 Take three points on the surface to be tested for measurement, with the interval between points not less than 6mm. Note: ① Use a stand or a base weight coaxial with the pressure head, or use both for measurement, which can achieve better reproducibility. The Shore A hardness tester uses a load of 1kg. The Boer D hardness tester uses a load of 5kg. The average hardness and hardness difference of the coating rubber can be measured according to the relevant provisions of GB9894. 7 Result expression
Record three test values accurately to the integer, and take the median value to express the test result. 8 Test report
