Wet pad cooling device
Wet pad cooling system
JB/T10294—2001
This standard specifies the terminology, specifications, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of wet pad cooling devices.
This standard applies to wet pad cooling devices (wet pads are made of paper matrix) used for summer ventilation and cooling of agricultural buildings (greenhouses, livestock and poultry houses). Wet pad cooling devices made of other materials can be implemented as a reference. 2 Referenced standards

This standard uses the following terms.
3.1Wet pad cooling systemWet pad cooling systemA system device mainly used for cooling agricultural buildings (greenhouses, livestock and poultry houses) based on the principle of cooling the surrounding air by evaporation of water. The system includes wet pads, frame structures, water supply and distribution pipelines and water pumps. The device is used in conjunction with low-pressure and high-flow fans. 3.2Wet pads
Forming materials used for evaporative cooling. It is made of specially made fiber paper with good water absorption, which is pressed into corrugated boards and then staggered and bonded into a plate shape, allowing airflow and water flow to cross and pass through, and has good anti-corrosion performance. 3.3 Wet pad package The wet pad and the shell that contains the wet pad, maintains the shape of the wet pad and bears the external force during installation, as well as the water distribution pipeline and the outlet. 3.4 Pad face velocity
The wind speed passing through each point in the wet pad (corrugated plate) is variable and difficult to measure. Usually, the wind speed entering or leaving the wet pad, which is easy to measure, is defined as the wind speed passing through the wet pad, referred to as the curtain wind speed. The unit is expressed in m/s. 3.5 Designed curtain wind speed recommended pad face velocity When using a wet pad cooling device for cooling, in order to meet the ventilation volume required for agricultural buildings (greenhouses, livestock and poultry houses), the curtain wind speed value proposed by the manufacturer or design unit is considered to consider the comprehensive factors such as the heat exchange efficiency, resistance loss, and economic applicability of the wet pad area. -Generally 0.5~1.5m/s.
Approved by China Machinery Industry Federation on June 22, 2001, implemented on October 1, 2001
JB/T10294—2001
3.6 Design water supply flow
Recommended calculation rate of the water wet curtain cooling device Under the design wind speed through the curtain, when the system achieves the best heat exchange efficiency, the amount of circulating water supplied by the water pump to the wet curtain per unit area or unit length. The unit is m/(m2·h) or m2/(m·h). It is proposed by the manufacturer or design unit. 3.7 Evaporative cooling heat transfer efficiency refers to the ratio between the actual saturation degree of air passing through the wet curtain and the saturation degree that the air may reach in the ideal process at the designed wind speed. It is numerically equal to the difference in dry bulb temperature before and after the air passes through the wet curtain divided by the difference between the dry bulb temperature and the bulb temperature before the air passes through the wet curtain, that is:
E=-)x100%
(To-Tw)
Where: E—heat transfer efficiency:
T——dry bulb temperature before the wet curtain:
T——dry bulb temperature after the wet curtain:
Twet bulb temperature before the wet curtain.
3.8 Flow resistance static pressure drop refers to the resistance of airflow passing through the wet curtain at the designed wind speed. The unit is Pa. 4 Specifications and models

Mechanical Industry Standard Service Network: http/AvwwJB.ac.cn1 Evaporative cooling heat exchange efficiency
a) The measurement section is parallel to the wet curtain. It is divided into the outdoor outside of the wet curtain and the indoor inside of the wet curtain, and the distance from the wet curtain is 0.5m. b) The measurement point is selected in the middle of the wet curtain distribution surface, and more than five points should be selected. Measure the air dry bulb temperature and wet bulb temperature outside the wet curtain; measure the air dry bulb temperature and wind speed inside the wet curtain, and take the average value when calculating. c) During the laboratory wind tunnel test, the speed-adjustable fan can provide a wind speed of 0.5~2.5m/s through the curtain, and the maximum wind speed through the curtain can reach 2.5m/s. The wind speed during the on-site test uses the designed wind speed through the curtain.
d) Calculate the evaporative cooling heat exchange efficiency under different wind speeds through the curtain, and draw the evaporative cooling heat exchange efficiency-wind speed characteristic curve. The evaporative cooling heat exchange efficiency is calculated according to the formula in 3.7.
6.3.2.2 Flow resistance
Use a micromanometer to measure the flow resistance at different wind speeds on the outdoor and indoor sides of the wet curtain, and draw a flow resistance-wind speed characteristic curve. 6.3.3 The test instruments shall comply with the provisions of Table 2. Table 2 Test instruments
Measurement parameters

Inside and outside of wet curtain wind speed
Use the on-site test method to supply water to the wet curtain cooling device at the rated water supply flow rate and test according to the requirements of 5.4.2. 6.5 Vibration resistance test
Instrument accuracy
After the wet curtain cooling device passes the inspection, it shall be packaged according to the regulations, placed in the middle of the truck and fixed. The load of the truck shall not exceed 1/3 of its rated load. It shall travel 100 km on a Class 3 road surface at a speed of 20~40 km/h. The wet curtain cooling device after the transportation test shall be re-inspected according to the requirements of 5.4.3.
