This standard specifies the maximum permissible concentration of wood dust in the air of workplace and its monitoring and inspection methods. This standard applies to all types of production enterprises that process non-allergenic wood and use it as raw materials. 2 Reference standards

The maximum permissible concentration of wood dust with a free silicon dioxide content of less than 10% in the air of the workplace is 8mg/m3. 4 Monitoring and inspection methods
The determination of wood dust concentration and free silicon dioxide content in the air of the workplace shall be carried out in accordance with GB5748. 5 Supervision and implementation

This standard was drafted by Harbin Medical University and Baoding District Health and Epidemic Prevention Station of Hebei Province. This standard is interpreted by the Institute of Labor Hygiene and Occupational Diseases of the Chinese Academy of Preventive Medicine, which is entrusted by the Ministry of Health.
