This standard specifies the counting sequential sampling inspection plan and procedure for discrete individuals. The plan in the main body of this standard is indexed by the producer's risk point and the user's risk point. As a supplement to the sampling plan system of GB/T 2828 (ISO 2859-1), the counting sequential sampling inspection plan and procedure indexed by the acceptable quality level (AQL) are specified in Appendix A. The purpose of this standard is to provide a sequential assessment procedure for inspection results, which can be used to encourage the producer to provide batches with a high probability of accepting quality by the economic and psychological pressure brought to the producer by rejecting inferior batches.
