National Standard of the People's Republic of China
Bronze ingots for casting
This standard applies to bronze ingots for casting used in the manufacture of copper alloy castings. 1 Technical requirements
The grade and chemical composition of the ingots shall comply with the provisions in the table. 1.1
1.2 The shape and specifications of the ingots shall comply with the provisions of the following figure. 1.3 The surface of the ingots shall be clean and free of flash and burrs, but slight shrinkage cracks during pouring are allowed. 1.4 The fracture structure of the ingots shall be dense and free of slag and inclusions. GB8739 -88
1.5 If the purchaser has special requirements for the chemical composition, shape and specifications of the ingots, the supply and demand parties shall negotiate separately. 2 Test method
The arbitration analysis method for the chemical composition of the ingot shall be carried out in accordance with GB8002.1~8002.15-87 "Chemical analysis method for tin bronze", 2.1
YB55--64 "Standard method for chemical analysis of aluminum bronze" and GB6520.16520.14-86 "Chemical analysis method for silicon bronze and silicon brass".
The chemical composition can only analyze the main components, and the impurities shall be analyzed regularly, but it must be ensured that it meets the requirements of this standard. 2.2
2.3 The surface quality shall be inspected with naked eyes.
2.4 For fracture structure inspection, one ingot can be randomly selected from each batch of ingots, and it shall be cut from the bottom to 1/2 of the ingot thickness and inspected with naked eyes. China National Nonferrous Metals Industry Corporation approved 146

3.1 Inspection and acceptance
GB8739.88
3.1.1 The ingot shall be inspected by the supplier's technical supervision department to ensure that the product quality meets the requirements of this standard and fill in the quality certificate. 3.1.2 The buyer can inspect the received products. If the inspection results do not meet the requirements of this standard, it should be reported to the supplier within three months from the date of receipt of the product, and the supplier and buyer will negotiate to resolve the problem. If arbitration is required, the supplier and buyer will jointly take samples at the buyer's side. 3.1.3 If the surface quality of the ingot does not meet the requirements of Article 1.3 of this standard, the ingot is unqualified. 3.2 Red batch
Products should be submitted for acceptance in batches, and each batch should consist of the same furnace number. It can also consist of multiple furnaces as agreed by the supplier and buyer. 3.3 Sampling rules
The sample for arbitration analysis is obtained by randomly taking one ingot from the batch of ingots and drilling three points along the diagonal line on its surface, one point is in the middle and the other two points are 100mm away from the end points. The drilling depth is 2/3 of the ingot thickness. Drilling cuttings are mixed. 3.4 Repeated test
If the test results of chemical composition and fracture structure do not meet the requirements of this standard, double samples of the items that do not meet the requirements of this standard shall be taken from the batch of products for re-testing. If one result still does not meet the requirements of this standard after re-testing, the batch of products shall be unqualified. Marking, packaging, transportation, storage and quality certificate 4
The brand and furnace number shall be marked on each ingot. Ingots are supplied in bulk. With the agreement of the supply and demand parties, they can also be packed in bundles. Ingots are stacked and transported according to brand, and no mixing is allowed. All ingots should be accompanied by a quality certificate, which should indicate: supplier name or code; product name, brand and registered trademark; chemical composition analysis results and technical supervision department stamp; batch or furnace number; weight of each batch or furnace; standard number: product ex-factory date. Additional remarks: This standard was drafted by Nanjing Ferroalloy. The main drafter of this standard is Li Gongqin. From the date of implementation of this standard, the former Ministry of Metallurgical Industry Standard YB784-75 "Casting Bronze Ingots" will be invalid.
